*Comp Play 4 "Showtime Sunday" on:

        Atlanta +191

Hampton is 1-0 with a solid 1.32 ERA, in his 5 Road starts..He is also 10-9 with a ERA of 2.91 and 3 complete games vs the Mets in his career.

Pedro in his career is 6-7 with a ERA of 3.39 in 14 vs the Braves....and he is 1-1 this year vs Atlanta posting an ERA of 2.81..

Atlanta is 9-3 vs the Mets this season and Hampton should be ready to get down and dirty again..as his injury was more of a preventative one instead of a cant play "at all" type of injury...The Braves have alot to play for, while the Mets dont...Plus, I cant pass up this value.... Go Braves!

            Boston -151

-Holy Shit Al Leiter getting alot of press...for what he came cheap cause he is cheap...This guy should hang it up, sorry to say...but when you are allowing an avg of 2 base runners per an inning, you seriously cant believe your going to find success in the Majors, now do you...

Al has a ERA of 6.64 and he has not fared well against Boston...In addition, he has the lowest % of 1st pitch strikes and now must face the most patient team at the plate, in the Red Sox's...Leiter doesnt like to go inside because he doesnt have the stuff to overpower anyone...however, his lack of command puts him in position where he has no choice but to got their...and thats when he gets lit up...Tonight I expect that to happen against this hitting team and at this hitters ballpark... BOSOXS PUTS A HURTIN ON AL.

-The RS better get their asses in gear or they will drop to the rear...Speaking of Asses, Wells Big Ass has owned the D-Rays of late posting a 9-1 record, Boston 12-1 in his last 13 games started..and his ERA is a solid 2.52, WHIP is 1.030 vs them in his career...This works perfectly as he has pitched well (no pun intended..lol) in his last 3 with a ERA of 3.66 and WHIP of 1.068.....Hendrickson, does not have the same success vs the RS as he is 1-4 and ERA of 7.29, WHIP 1.795...and his current play in his last 3 games..state to me that he is on track to a repeat Ass spanking at the hands of the Red Sox's...as his ERA overall is 7.98 and WHIP is 1.772....and in his last 3 games he has been close to giving up 1 run per an inning that he was on the hill...Which he is only averaging just 4.9 innings per game in this span...He also has only recorded just 8 K's as well...Can you say "Dead Meat Pitching".

TB also giving up 6.7 rpg average on the Road, allowing opponents to hit .295 at the plate, and .374 OBP...There BP wont help any as they have a W/L record of 4-13 on the Road with an ERA of 5.94 and WHIP of 1.732....TB also is only 8-23 vs LHPs this year...and Fat Ass is a LHP.

Boston offense avg 5.6 rpg, .277 hitting at the plate, and .354 OBP in their games at Home...They are also 22-2 as a Home Fav of -225 to -250 the past two seasons...and 4-0 this year...Boston already 4-1 this year at home vs TB and with the current losing that they have been doing, including one to the D-Rays to start the series...they cannot overlook anyone...especially with the Yankees .5 game and the O's just 1 game behind them... Boston's Sticks Wakes Up Today!

                  • *2ND COMP PLAY 4 "WILD WEDS" ....LETS SWEEP EM!

                    **TOP RATED PLAY ON:

                    Toronto -123

-The B-Jays are only 5 1/2 games back of first place so I dont think they will be giving up just yet....And although Halladay was a big lost to their chances and a big loss to their team's confidence...they knew that they would of had to face this scenerio sooner or later....so it might as well be now...One of the players which they have been looking to post-Halladay was this yound lefty Chacin....Since last season, they have been highly touting this Rookie as being their next Halladay and finally brought him up for his first year in the Majors, after he dominated the minors last season....Chacin early on had beenwill have to step up and show that he can be depended upon....Chacin, this year already has shown his potential with wins over Oak twice (10-3 and 4-2), Boston (8-1), Texas (8-0), Balt (6-2), Cubs (4-1), Wash (9-5), and lost to the Yanks by 1 run (3-4) and the CWS by 1 run (4-5)....With facing all these solid teams and top notch lineups...Chacin still was able to retain his solid ERA of 3.81, which is 14th lowest in the AL..and of all the 13 pitchers with lower ERA's, he does top 11 of them with the 3 rd lowest amount of HRs given up this year with just 9....Solid!

Chacin is coming into this game with a 2-0 record in his last 4 starts,...and one of them was over the Hot Oakland A's on July 7th, where he gave up just 2 runs on 5 hits in 5 2/3 on the hill....The B-Jays are also 4-1 in Chacin's last 5 home starts overall.

Seattle sends Righty Franklin to the hill...where he is also coming off of two solid game wins over KC and then Anaheim...going the full 9 vs the Royals and lasting 6.1 innings in the 6-3 win at Anaheim....which was his last start back on July 9th....This start today will by 10 days since that game vs the Angels, which is twice the normal duration, before his next start....But the M's decided to skip his turn the first time around following the All Star break and thus he was also to be lucky have this start as they were thinking of moving him to the bullpen instead....I think that this was a bad call on the part of the M's as Franklin was getting hot, based on his last two wins....something he hasnt been able to put together since last season....and this move of skipping his rotation, could have taken away all the momentum that he built up in his last two games, which were also played on the road as well...

Another reason this could backfire also is due to the fact that in his 9 career games vs Toronto, 4 of them starts, he is only 2-1 but his ERA is a whopping 10.73, WHIP 2.28, and is allowing B-Jay hitters to avg .405 batting against him....In his last start vs the B-Jays this year on May 31st, he gave up 7 runs, on 10 hits, and lasted just 2 2/3rd innings...while allowing Toronto to bat .556 in this game...Not Good!

Toronto is best at Home where they are averaging 5.3 rpg, hitting .287 at the plate, and .350 OBP...Toronto is also hitting RHP's .328 their last 10 games vs them, .297 at Home vs RHPs, and .270 overall vs them.....The B-Jays alsostill have the 6th best team hitting average of .270 in the league....They are also ranked 6th best in Run production...Seattle ranks 6th to last in Run production......Toronto is ranked 11th in most Hits on the year....Seattle is ranked 6th to last with the fewest Hits....Seattle also 2nd to last in total HRs on the year, in OBP, and in SLG%....Toronto ranks 6ths in RBIs, OBP and 11th in SLG%..

One thing to note is Seattle is one team who will get up to play the good teams but seem to go to sleep or dont have any motivation to play teams with losing records or who are not making the headlines...This is noticible with their sweeping of the Angels and their splitting the series with the Orioles...But, vs teams with losing records..they are just 12-24 this year....and 0-3 this year and 35-52, the past two season playing teams with losing records in the 2nd half of the season...

Toronto is 8-2 at Home vs Seattle overall...and Seattle is just 4-10 in the 2nd game of an away series....Plus, dont forget that this M's team does struggle vs LHPs avg just 4.3 rpg and hitting just .261 vs them....Seattle also just 19-27 on the road...and BP W/L record on Road is just 2-7....Toronto is 13-7 last 3 seasons vs Seattle overall....And also in the last game, Seattle was able to launch 3 Bombs off of Toronto's Lilly in the loss...tonight I dont expect that to happen vs Chacin, who gives up the least HRs of all the starters and that also includes Ace Halladay.....Tonight Chacin Steps Up and Shows His Stuff!.... Go B-Jays!

                        • Chacin...pitching a gem so far through 4 innings retired 14, allowed 1 walk, 1 k, 1 hit, no runs...Plus Toronto's bats is alive and backing him up with 4 runs on 6 hits....Very good start and so far on track per my Write-Up and Analysis....Dont let up B-Jays....C'mon Chacin shut these losers out.

                            OAKTOWN -108

-La in their last 10 hitting LHPs .246...at Home hitting LHP's just .238...Oaktown hitting RHPs .281 their last 10 games...Oakland also 9-3 in 3rd game of away series...and 7-3 the last 10...hitting .268 overall....Angels 4-6 the last 10 games hitting just .213 overall...Not Good, as Zito has been almost unhittable in his last 3 starts where he is 3-0, ERA 1.57, WHIP of .70...in 23 innings, allowing just 10 hits, 7 ERs, 1 HRs, and just 4 walks....Byrd also solid in his last 3 starts as well....but vs Oakland he has struggled alot...Currently 0-2 vs the A's with an ERA of 9.91, WHIP of 2.020...and the Angels is 1-3 the 4 starts vs Oakland...

Oakland the hottest team with the best pitching staff IMO..currently...The one punch went last night with Harden...This is the two punch with Zito....Deadly combo...and that is one reason why Oakland has gone 15-4 in their last 19 Road games.... Go A's!

                                *REGULAR PLAY ON:

                                Boston -1.5 -127 (EZ 9-4 Winner!)

*2ND COMP PLAY 4 "WILD WEDS" ....LETS SWEEP EM!

                                **TOP RATED PLAY ON:

                                Toronto -123 (EZ 9-4 Winner!)

Go B-Jays!

*3RD COMP PLAY 4 "WILD WEDS" ....LETS SWEEP ALL 3!

                                **TOP RATED PLAY ON:

                                OAKTOWN -108 (EZ 3-0 Winner!)

Go A's!
