-What has happened to this Zona team?...At Home their pitching and defense has become non-existant lately....At Home they are allowing opponents to average 5.9 rpg and hit .301 at the plate...Perfect situation for this Hot Minny team who is the read deal behind their solid pitching and defensive play, as that is what wins games...But, their offense of late has also help their cause putting up an average of 6.7 rpg in their last 7 games this month...Minny is 6-1 this month while Zona is sliding fast winning just one game out 8 played in June....Minny also 4-1 in inter-league play....and they also love to play on Thursdays where they are currently 7-0, compared to Zona who is only 2-5 on "Thirsty Thursdays."....Zona sends Vazquez to the hill tonight..and he has shown the ability to overpower hitters at the plate this year...it seems to be different story for him at Home, where he has only won 1 game in his last 5 starts this year..and has an ERA of 6.43...Minny should get to him and then to their BP who isnt being of any help or providing any relief for the D-Backs this year with their ERA of over 5....Minny already 4-1 at Zona and 2-0 this year vs the D-Backs....Tonight they Complete the Sweep ....Go Twins!







-BTW, who's been calling it almost perfectly and providing back-up to their plays posted here....That's right ONLY the CO-CAPTAIN...I guess only I have the confidence and ability to show everyone the Value of my Plays and the Quality of my Handicapping of them.... Looks like we're headed to another Solid Winning Day again on Aloha Friday...still early, but looking really good...so I figure I throw everyone a solid play from my Late Set... Enjoy!

-As predicted, the Giants without Barry would catch up to them even after they started out on a Hot streak...They once had one of the top offenses at the plate in that time, but since then has slowly but surely cooled way way down...In fact, SF's offense has only been able to score 1 run in each of its previous 3 games and hit just .177 in this span as well...And they say that one guy doesnt make a team...well if your guy is Barry, then bet your ass he makes a team...just him in the lineup helps others get better pitches to hit, and he also can get your shitty pitchers out of a jam with one of his patented multiple run Bombs...But he is not in the lineup and I like that alot...especially since the Giants has currently lost 11 of their last 13 games and yesterdays win over KC wasnt anything special as the faced the worst starting pitcher in Lima Time or as I like to call him, "Light My Ass Up Time"...to go along with the worst team in the League...That win was only the Giants 1st Home Win in their last 7 Home games...No Home Field Advantage anymore for them..

The only thing I dont like is the fact that the Giants love to face LHPs as they have hit them well...But, I like the fact that they Indians are hitting better overall and the fact that the Giants Bullpen is currently ranked 22nd in the league with a ERA of 4.94...And that they dont have their Closer Benitez as well...More currently, SF's BP has a ERA of 5.89 and WHIP of 1.80 in their last 3 games...Clev's BP has been solid with their 1.93 ERA and WHIP of .90 in their last 3 games...I also like the fact that this will be the 1st regular-season meeting between the teams....and that should give the edge to CC and the surging Indians who are playing solid ball of late...Well, at least a hell of alot more solid then the punchless Giants are....Go Indians!

Well, my MLB season continues to be just Amazing....and Last nights Complete Sweep in my LATE SET with my TRP-POD on Clev, TRP on CWS, and Reg Play on the Dodgers was just one example of this Amazing run I am on..


So far on the year, I have been able to Win 8 of my last 9 Weekends to go along with also Winning 8 of my last 9 Weeks in MLB this year....This Weekend should be no different, especially as I am heading into it already Up huge on the Man as well.....


The blood is in the water and I am going to close this week off for sure in the Profit Zone for all my Weekly Package holders...who's sitting pretty right now....This is a good thing also for my Weekend Warriors as well, simply because I will put in extra time to making sure this Weekend turns out with nothing but Profit....I am Not going to give the Man back all that I worked hard to Win from him...but that doesnt mean that I will be giving him any breaks either....Oh No!...Like I said, the blood is in the water and now is the time to go for the throat and especially because I already isolated several games that I love Big Time...

One game may also make it as a "BIG GAME PLAY" ....but its not certain just yet...but, not to worry as the last time I had this much games on the table to possibly qualify as a "BGP" , none ended up qualifying...but they all still produced a Solid 4-1 Record that Weekend for all of my clients to Enjoy!....

To set the Record straight though, my Strongest Sports to Cap is Football (NFL & CFB) and CBB 1st and 2nd...and then MLB being my 3rd ....Still, I have currently Won 8 of my last 9 Weeks in MLB so far this year....and this Week I have already Won 4 of 5 days...and headed to Recording my 9th Winning Week in the Bases at the end of Sunday's action......Speaking of Sunday's Action..today was the start of my "Big Weekend" , but it's not the End...Tomorrow we Rock-N-Roll Big Time again...Check it out!

*COMP PLAY 4 "SHOWTIME SUNDAY" ....ENJOY!




Baltimore -128





Balt 19-10 on the Road this year avg 6.5 rpg, hitting .310 at the plate, and .357 OBP.....vs RHPs they are 26-15 avg 5.2 rpg and hitting .292 vs them...Also, on the road they are averaging 11.4 hits per game, 6.2 RBI's per game, and 4.3 extra base hits per game....The O's have launched 46 Bombs in 29 road games and 63 Bombs vs 41 RHPs they faced this year...All of this while holding opponents to just 4.4 rpg overall and .249 hitting at the plate...Furthermore, Cincy is just 16-26 vs RHPs avg 4.9 rpg and .253 hitting vs them, while their defense has been giving up 5.8 rpg overall and allowing .300 hitting as well....Not Good!

Balt comes in as the best overall hitting team leading in Hits., RBI's, 2nd in Runs, and 2nd in total HRs...Also not good news for Cincy's starter Ortiz...who has been getting worse with each start...and at Home nothing has helped him to pitch well either..In fact at home he is allowing batters to hit .402 and has a WHIP of 2.05 and an ERA of 7.11.....Overall though, Ortiz has a record of 1-4 in 9 starts with a ERA of 6.25 and WHIP of 1.858....But in his Home starts and his last 3 starts, his ERA rose to a whopping 7.98 and WHIP of over 2...and he hasnt gone over 4 innings in this span as well...Oritz overall has given up 23 more hits then innings pitched..and today he must go against the best hitting team in the league and that is not a good thing for Cincy, especially as Balt is hitting RHPs overall .293...and .309 on the Road vs them..

Cincy just 3-6 on Sundays...Balt 6-3 on Sunday.....Balt also 13-7 in day games...and 8-2 in Ponson's last 10 starts....Speaking of Ponson, in his 6 road starts his record is 3-1 and the O's went 5-1 in these games....And, in his last 3 starts, he has been able to lower his ERA to a solid 2.61, and also only gave up 6 ERs in over 20 innings on the hill as well...

Lastly, Cincy's Ortiz is coming into this game off one of his worst outings ever, lasting only 1.2 innings at Home vs TB, giving up 6 ERs on 7 hits, and 2 walks....Another stat which is not good, is that Ortiz has given up a HR in his last 8 starts so far....This definately not a good thing facing the number 2 HR hitting team in the league....The O's Ponson, on the other hand, has not given up any HRs in his last 4 road games...and this is important because the Reds has hit 15 HRs in their last 5 games....Ortiz facing the O's sticks should be were it begins and where it will end up in a solid Balt win today....Ponson is good enough to keep this Reds lineup in check today and he will have the benefit of them not having faced him yet in his career....While he does his work, I expect the O's to again get healthy off of Ortiz and get once again get back to their winning ways and securing their hold on the AL East Division in the process..... GO O's!

Right now there is no other way to go but against this punchless bunch of Giants and especially with another weak pitcher in Rueter taking the hill....The Indians are surging right now and find themselves back at .500 which is where most teams will fight to get to by the All Star break....They have done this by having a rather successful long Road trip inwhich they are finishing up with the Giants tonight....For these two, it has simply been a matter of role reversal as the Indians were once the ones who couldnt put runs up on the board as their offense was non-existant early on in the season..while the Giants were getting it done with Barry in the lineup....But, injuries to infielders and pitchers caused alot of turmoil and problems which they still hasn't seem to have figured out a solution to just yet....

Today, I dont see it getting any brighter for them as they are playing against a hungry bunch of Indians who also want to keep this momentum they have rolling strong...Ending today with a win and a Sweep in their last game of their long 12 game road swing, would do alot to keep them going....Perfect timing as they send their most consistant, most wins, lowest ERA and WHIP, lowest BAA, and most K's of all their pitcher they have, in Lee..

Clev's Lee has been at his best, believe it or not, away from Jacobs Field...So far in his 8 road starts he has a solid 5-1 record with a 2.91 ERA, WHIP of11.21...and recorded 42 strike outs, 15 ERs, .249 BAA, and just 11 walks, in over 46 innings.....Plus the Indians are 7-1 in Lee's 8 road starts...In his last 3 starts though, Lee has an ERA of 2.00 and a WHIP of 1.278, giving up 16 hits, 4 ERs, 7 walks, and 20 strike outs in just alittle over 18 innings on the hill....Solid! ...In addition, he also has recorded 3 shutouts in his 8 road starts and only allowed more than 3 runs once, while also not allowing more than 3 walks all year...including just one road game where he gave up 3 walks..

The Giants send their lefty Rueter to the hill, where he is just 2-4 on the year with an ERA of 4.65, with just 14 strike outs while allowing 25 walks, and 5 HRs....At Home, things dont get any better as he has a 1-4 record....and his ERA is 4.64....while allowing BAA of .270....Rueter, in over 42 innings on the hill, he has only recorded 9 strike outs..while giving up 18 walks....Overall Rueter is allowing opposing hitters to average .287 at the plate..and in 4 Day games this BAA is increased to .302...while his ERA went up to 5.23 in 20.2 innings....SF has also lost their last 4 Rueter has started...inwhich he only recorded 5 strikeouts, gave up 10 walks, 15 ERs, and 32 hits, in just 22.2 innings on the hill...This last 4 starts led to the Giants losing by a combined score of 32 to 15..


Some stats and trends I like...

-Clev has won 5 of their last 6 games, where they outscored opponents 36 to 16....SF has lost 4 of the last 5 games...and was outscored 36 to 19 in this span as well....
-Clev is 7-3 in Lee's last 10 starts.
-Clev is 7-2 in inter-league play.
-Clev is 5-1 in their last 6 Road games.
-Clev is 7-1 in Lee's 8 road starts.
-Clev's Bullpen overall is 2.33 ERA and a WHIP of 1.03.
-Clev's Lee is coming off one of his best performances of the season...scattering 5 hits over 7 innings...and struck out a season high 9 batters and walked just two in the Indians win over SD on Tuesday..
-Clev's Lee has surrended 1 ER or fewer in 3 of his last 4 starts, and leads Clev in wins (6), ERA (3.27)...and in K's (54)

-SF is just 2-7 in June.
-SF is just 3-6 in inter-league games.
-SF is just 12-22 after a loss.
-SF has no Closer as Benitez is still on DL....
-SF's Bullpen in their last 3 games has a ERA of 6.85, WHIP of 1.90
-SF have lost 13 of their last 15 games, and are 10 games below .500 for the first time since finishing 68-94 in 1996.
-SF has lost 8 or their last 9 games at SBC Park and is only 15-19 at home this season.
-SF's Rueter is winless in his last 4 starts. In his last outing, Rueter was brutal as he allowed 7 runs on 9 hits in just 4 1/3 innings of work...and he did not record a strike out in the 8-1 setback to KC...


Cleveland rolling right now, while the Giants are punchless at the plate and have no shutdown pitcher in their stable anymore to put fear into any opposing lineupd...They continue to keep these worthless pitchers pitchers like Tomko, Fassero, and todays starter in Rueter...and this is one reason, beside Barry not playing that they are simply losing their asses right now...Cleveland have their stud on the hill and he is overpowering opponents at the plate, and the punchless Giants definately can be over-powered....With Barry. Benitez, and Schmidt on his Ace Form...they are worst than the Royals.... Lets Go Indians! :christmas
