UPDATE:

-Early Plays on the Angels ML & +RL Sweep 2-0 to start the day...Solid!

Boston RS -129 (EZ 7-4 WINNER!)



-One big reason to like this one is the simple fact that Foulke cant blow antoher save for the RS....Another is that Clement has the ability to go Deeep into the game, which is something the RS starters will need to do if they want to prosper from what their offense has been giving them to work with....Last night Wakefield went deep and that gave them a better chance to secure the win...something that the RS found out the hard way again in the first game of the series where their 2 run lead wasnt enough for thier BP to hold on for the win...

Clement also 2-0 vs Texas with a ERA of 3.24 and Whip of 1.28 in his 4 starts vs him...He also is only allowing them to hit .202 against him as well.....Park has allowed opponents to average hitting .296 against him this year..and at Home he allows .276 BAA ...but thats not helping him in any way as his ERA is 5.50 and his WHIP is 1.65...alll not a good thing when facing the Defending World Champs who is Smokin Hot right now and who ranks 1st in the league in team hitting average as well....I like Boston!

Another EZ WINNER off a perfect Situational Matchup today with Clement taking the hill against Park...I stated Clements ability to go Deeeeeeeeep into the game is what the RS need from their starters because their Bullpen sucks shit!...and he didnt disappoint going 8.2 innings Deeeeeeeep today.....Perfect!

I also mentionied that Parks inability to keep opponents batting averages against him down (currently .296 BAA) ..and also his high ERA and especially his high WHIP (1.65), was just not a good stat to have because he will be facing a very very Hot Boston RS team, who is also currently ranked 1st in the league in overall team batting averages...And, Mr Park also didnt disappoint Us as well.... Thank You Mr Park!

Btw, this Comp Play was also rated as a Top Play selection off my Last Set I released and played today on "Wild Weds" ....I hope you all are Enjoying all these Winners...which off the top of my head has Won 7 of the last 8 Comps I posted right here here in this thread. as well...

-Some serious trends in favor of the Natl's are seemingly going the other way of late and this was always felt by many to come up soon to balance out what Washington has been achieving...ie, going 23-7 in one run games...now you cant believe it was all based on overall dominance and talent do you...I didnt...and in this case it seems to have shown up first of all these trends...Heres more of them...Wash wins 6 straight and now have lost 2 of their last 3....Wash Ace Hernandez loses yesterday for the first time after posting 11 straight wins, in 14 starts.....Wash's Guillen goes 0-4 and ends his 9 game hitting streak yesterday....Wash's is facing a series lost down 2 games to 1 with this one left to play...while the Mets, who have remained very constant and consistant with their play....is going for their 3 straight Road series win...Wash also in their last 10 games is only hitting RHPs .202 ....their lowest average on the year so far....Mets again are holding constant whether last 10, on the road, or overall....And lastly, Wash's BP in their last 3 games has an ERA of 5.00...and a WHIP of 1.61...after holding a solid ERA under 3....Also things of importance...the Natl's are just 1-3 in their last 4 vs the Mets....and it seems that their injury bug which they seemed to not have affected them earlier may this time without their best stick in the lineup in Nick Johnson...Oh yeah, and the Met's Benson has been stellar vs them in his career posting a 3-1 record with a ERA of 3.40.....

Atlanta solid at Home...but even more solid in July where they have a record of 44-12 the past 3 seasons...and 4-1 this year....Bobby knows how to get his team ready this time of year...and not even Prior is enough to stop them..especially without the best hitter in the league to help in out.... -The Reds Ortiz with a 1-4 Road record, 6.51 Road Era, 1.84 Road WHIP, .327 Road BAA...allowing 22 ERs on 36 hits, 6 HRs, 15 Walks, in just 27.2 innings ...is No Way to survive in this league, let alone on the Road....Zona's Halsey not that much better..but he does have a big advantage of being at Home...On a team, who is coming off a big win and who knows they should of won the previous game vs the best team in the NL as well...And who is only 4 behind NL West leader SD...so motivation and confidence should be High....Compared to this Reds team who is one of the worst Road teams in the league with a 9-30 Road record, no bullpen, and simply could care less coming off of two straight losses and with a semi-vacation coming up in a few days... Zona should get it done tonight!
