With Americans who did what I did the divorced rate is much, much lower-that is a fact and not an opinion.

when i am at dinner parties or any other engagement......i stick by certain rules....do not talk about religion, politics, salary, abortion or red sox/yankees........These are highly flammable topics.....To go back and look to see who was name calling is fruitless and these things shoule be given a "pass" when talking about such passionate topics.......

I just met a women the other night who is getting divorced...she is gorgeous and a go getter ...her husband married her out of college and he is a lazy bum...who does not take of himself.......drinks beer and does nothing...i am sure there are 2 sides to the story.....but she says ..."he is not the same guy i married".....she has to pay him alimony...makes more.....says she can not see the next 40 years with him....do you blame her???? the only difference is....She has options.....

these foreign brides...what options do they really have.....The men they marry are their meal tickets and they know it......The jobs they can get are menial.....I just saw where many foreign doctors are coming here and becoming nurses, since they would have to re-do medical school....(my point being...they are not masters of this language or culture and they must take a lesser position)

I have to take exception to your comment about the implication that foreign women marry American men as a "meal ticket" to come here.
Certainly that is true in many cases, and I still have countless numbers of people writing to me of all ages from many countries especially the Philippines, where I would say your comment has merit.
I know in my case and as you can see by my Romance thread I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours if you count my travel time as well as time on the interent sifting through thousands of women (no exaggeration) to find one who shared my views in life.
As you know I found a lady for whom love, religion, devotion, family, religion, etc. are the values she considers important.
Money/materialism means nothing to her, and she would have married me even if I didn't have some money.
We are both happy, and the 25 year age difference is immaterial to her(unlike it would be with most American women).
Just to assume that I had to look for a lady in another country because I couldn't find one in the US makes no sense, and I stand by my foreign car vs. US car analogy.
I can certainly understand how one could generalize about foreign women looking for "meal tickets."
Thankfully because of my investigative job and my dealings with thousands of people in my life, I was able to sift out the rotten apples(and if you read my Romace thread, there definitely were some liars and scammers(where I have used those words before? lol).

That makes no sense. Obviously, if you cut taxes the same % for two people making different amounts of money, the person making more $ is going to have more of a savings. Ex. 10 % of 100,000 is 10,000 where 10% of 50,000 is 5,000. What is unfair about that? This doesn't mean they are gettng an unfair share of the tax cuts. People that make more money already unfairly pay a higher percentage of taxes than everyone else. Why should they not get the same % tax cut as the rest of America?
