DIdnt mean to offend anyone but you could take any number of games per week particularly with totals in bases, baskets and particularly NBA and say they are fixed. This along with others looked suspicious I must admit but I learned a long time ago not to think that way since it really doesn't help beat the man as you said. Hopefully those things even out but they don't seem to. Usually remember the ones you lose and forget the ones you win. I happened to win the Dallas under today and it was definitely the wrong side.Comment

I would add that yes even if there are attempts to make a game or total fall a certain way, in the long run, for us everyday bettors everything evens out in the long run
And believe me my feelings are based on my perception right or wrong and has nothing to do with whether I won a bet, lost a bet or didn't even be the game at all.
I would say that even if last night's Laker game was on the up and up in the last few minutes regarding the total,which many seem to feel, I still maintain that there are at least some instances in the season in a situation like this where a player or even a ref. might try to manipulate the ats outcome or total, and as wayne said, even more so in college baskets.Last edited by savage1; 05-07-2006, 06:06 PM.Comment

Lets see-the other night 35 points scored in 4:45 seconds to put the game over with Phoenix ahead by 30 points.
Tonight-Miami draws within 11 points late to at least have an outside chance and only 40 points scored for the ENTIRE period including very few in last few minutes and game stays under by 2 points.
It might be coincidence, but then again it might not.Comment
