Lakers Shenanigans Again

Anyone who has read my posts over the last few years knows that I rarely bet on or against the Lakers or the totals because frankly I think that at times some of the players are guilty of trying to control pointspread outcome or total especially late.
Well, I broke tradition and bet the over tonight(207) and for a whike, it looked good but then very bleak in fourth quarter when scoring slowed down.
Actually I shut it off figuring it was a loser.
I checked it again with 4:45 to play and score was 103-73, meaning 31 points would be needed to hit total and 32 for it to go over.
You tell me how many times 35 points are scored in 4:45 when game is hopelessly lost;usually if there are even 23 or tops 24 points scored during this time, it is surprising.
Anyways, when I watched the less minute or so, I was very elated to see that the game went over, and it is one of the few times I got lucky with a Lakers game(something tells me there were a lot of big bets on the under).
Call it conspiracy theory if you want, but I say over the last 4 or 5 years some of Lakers games(as well as some other NBA games) are suspect.

uncle savvy,the suns looked like the one on the over,in stead of running out the clock they score about 20 points in the last few minutes-liked you said ,really looked strange,9 times out of 10,teams with that big a lead will run the shot clock all the way down,not the phon. suns,they definitely played the over!! ps-i took 104- over 2nd half-what a gift and had bet the under for the game but played more on the over at halftime-WHAT A GIFT !!

you are so freaking paranoid about games being fixed or gettting ripped off by a service.. if you were on the other side, the side that wins you wouldnt be complaining..
i just read over n over about u and fixed games and bitching about services, got nothing better to do??

okay guys, no one PLAYER on the suns really bet the over, they make a million or two mill a yr on avg.
u think they could have gotten paid off enough to fix a game by a bookie to make it go over? especialy when i believe the majority were on the over! no way!

Good point Chung, and thanks for enlightening me. I didn't really watch the last few minutes.I simply assumed it was the Lakers who wanted it over(the total that is) rather than the Suns.

I bet over because the Stardust went to 209 on the total I have found when betting west coast games it seems when heavy action comes in you can watch these lines and they seem to be on target hope this helps !

I respect your opinion but have seen too many NBA games in my life and too many strange things happen usually near the end regarding pointspreads and/or total to conclude that it is always merely coincidence.
Money is not the issue;after somehave all of the money theyu want, the next thing is power, and I really believe that there are at least a few lowlife players in the NBA who would love to think that what they did or didn't do had a direct effect on the pointspread or total outcome.
ps I wasn't complaining, as as stated before, I had the OVER.

AMEN- WINTON-ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE BROTHER--one time they will dribble the ball out and throw it up in the crowd,another time the team thats ahead will post up a 3 at the buzzer with the defenders walking off the court,the funny thing,thats the shot that bust the total!! if its a power thing then how do they know, do they get a call on their cell phone to make the 3 ball with less then a minute left or to miss it, when actually 99.9 percent cant throw it in the ocean
