It's funny how a fan base determines how much we hate a team. Looking back at the Yankees of the late 90's, the last Yankee teams to win, as a team they were tough to hate. Brosius, O'Neill, Jeter, Bernie, Tino (all except Clemens).... They all played the game the way it was supposed to be played, left their hearts on the field, hustled, did the little things...but their fans made it very easy to hate them.....

only the tigers and angels have a better pitching staff your way off with glavine and el duqe plus they'll be well rested in september. Don't tell me you think randy johnson, jared wright and better or the chi sox staff with buehrlie, garcia, vazquez even contreras came back down to earth.

Definately, odd most ppl think can't win the w.s. becaz they lost 5 out of 6 to the sox and yankees. They might play in an easier league but at least there not losing games to last place team like tampa and kansas city. Also they think pedro, glavine, el duqe, traschel aren't good enough even though they have postseason experience, which team has better starters besides the angels.

I love people who judge a three game series as they end all and be all, or one at-bat, or one appearance.... They split the season with the NYY and got swept by the Sox, took 2 out of 3 from Toronto. At the end of the day, I could care less if they got swept by all 3 as long as they make the playoffs. Once you get to October, the game changes and anything can happen.

All i know Bry is Florida has Won Twice, Arizona Once and The CWS last year. You simply NEVER know anymore and i think they are a VIRTUAL LOCK to get there and can't say that about any A.L. team. At least i would have a "Shot" to win it once the series got here!
