Look back in the Clemens and Dan Duquette days frank. You could walk up and buy a ticket for face value on a day Clemens was pitching and the stadium was always half empty!

Schilling and Manny's contract are both up in the next 1-2 years. If they go with a youth movement like cleveland did, our fans will do the same thing theirs did and not show up.
Did people forget how many games in a row Jacob's field was sold out???

How many consecutive games have the Sox sold out? I am not sure, but I think it is at least 2-3 seasons or more counting this one.
Lets say for example Sox play dismally for the rest for the story and do not make the playoffs and then next year start off poorly(obviously this is a very extreme and hypothetical assumption).
I think under this scenario the ballpark would still be sold out throughout the 2007 season(I am not saying everyone would show up), and that the very earliest you would see any effect at all at the box office would be in 2008;I think in short there is a big lead lag time gap when it comes to the Red Sox.
Hopefully, Sox will somehow snap out of it, and we will never have to see what would happen under the circumstances I described.
