I posted this previously but will use this story again:

"It was Friday night. I was going into town to the local pub to have a few drinks as I did most Fridays but I told myself I wasnt going to drink and drive. I called up the cab company and said come grab me and bring me into town while I left my car at home. I went into the pub got smashed up like a tin can as usual and called the same cab company up at the end of the night to pick me up and bring me back home. Once they dropped me off and I stumbled up the stairs I found myself so starving and craving a Dinos Pizza. I pick up the phone call Dino and say "Hey Dino I want a large peperonni pizza" and he said "No problem you got it" and I hung up the phone. I went down stairs out the door hopped in my car and drove to get the pizza."

He left his sober, planning to drink, he had every opportunity, while SOBER, to know enough not to take his car.

      There's two POVs on this.

Personally, I wish people would see this is a tragedy, one that can't be fixed now, and instead of being outraged. Take solace in the fact that his family has made peace with this. They are forgiving people, and this is really hard to do. Not to mention they are taken care of for life.

We could go on forever about this I respect everyones opinion I just believe that acts done under the influence should be taken into a different toll as a sober mindframe with full conscious intent thats all...

Daniel Espinoza was 17 when he was involved in a DUI accident that claimed the life of two people in Palm Beach County, Fla.

Despite his lack of prior trouble, a strong family background, and the fact that he was a minor, he received a 24-year sentence for vehicular manslaughter. He will be over 40 years old when he is released.

              ...

DUI manslaughter is a second-degree felony in the state of Florida and carries a sentence of five to 15 years in jail, with the average for a single death being in the 10-year minimum range.

Not only is Stallworth’s sentence unheard of, it’s got to be a bitter pill to swallow for all the “average Joes” like Daniel Espinoza, who will be cooling his heels for a quarter-century for a mistake he made as a minor.

Big difference guys. A dog didn't run out in front of Mike Vicks car. If it did, we would all probably say well, it was just a dog. That is how you guys are treating it. What Mike Vick did wasn't an accident. It was premeditated ... over and over and over and over again. That is one fucked up mind right there, not the guy who walked the fine line of .08 and DUI.

Bwahaha, and I thought I've seen it all. So I guess Leonard Little is a Saint too? 30 days for murder, r u f'ing kidding me? That's why there is such a thing as premeditated murder and murder, BUT GUESS WHAT, THIS GUY COMMITTED MURDER AND GETS 30 DAYS.

So now .126 and .08 is walking a fine line?

                  WOW

Dude, stop it...so if I go get drunk right now and kill a dog, AM I SAFE FROM PUNISHMENT.

NOT TO SOUND RUDE, BUT THAT STATEMENT IS TOTAL BULLSHIT.

Little got a 7 game suspension i believe. That may be a gauge for this too?

As i said in a earlier post jimmy, YES, there is not a big difference in .08 to .126. Andrew Gallo was nearly 3 times the limit or around .24 which is twice what Stallworth was. Gallo was "Drunk". After taking the test myself, i do not think Stallworth was "Drunk".

Gallo is the guy slurring, staggering and running from the scene. Stallworth was not slurring, staggering or running. They needed to wait for blood results to even see if he was over the limit.

After a drunken birthday in 1998, NFL star Leonard Little crashed into and killed another motorist. When tested, his blood alcohol level measured 0.19 percent. Little received 60 days and 1000 hours of community service. Six years later, after the involuntary manslaughter conviction was wiped from his record, Little was again arrested for drunk driving.

Bottom line, HE KILLED SOMEONE WHILE HE WAS DRUNK, WHY DOES HE BASICALLY GET A FREE PASS?

I got a DUI 2 yrs ago, and believe me, THE WORST PART ABOUT IT WAS THINKING ABOUT WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED.

If this happened to anyway in this forum, is the result the same?

You all know the answer to that...what a f'ing joke.
