I am going to eat my words here believe it or not.
It turns out that this lady was not "exactly" honest with me.
The photos she sent me yesterday were quite attractive(assuming it was her). Upon my request, she sent me some other photos today which depicted here as MUCH older and nowhere near as attractive;she also said in her initial profile she was 43 and now she tells me 46.
I asked her about both and I didn''t fully understand the answer as it was written in Poturguese and I had to have it translated into English;some of the meaning of what she said may have been lost in translation.
What I did understand I didn't accept and told her that in your profile one should show how you look now and not years earlier an show/state your age correctly.
In any case I wrote her a nice letter telling her about my trip to Colombia, which I did mention in my profile, told her I was corresponding with some other ladies and wished her well.
In any case, I admit mistakes and errors in judgment, and I obviously made one here.
She may be a nice lady overall but the stakes and costs are too high to take any chances.
I am not sure I know how to transpose her photo and am not sure I really wish to do so.
My 86 year old mother was right when I emailed her the photo yesterday--she said "No way that lady is 43 in that photo(the one lady sent yesterday where she looked very attractive.")
She also had other suspicions about photos, one of which showed another heavier lady in the photo with the lady I was interested in with her arm around the other lady, whom she said was her sister. The sister was fat and not attractive;my mother thought perhaps that the attractive lady was trying to perhaps get me interested in her sister.
My mother's overall sense (my mon is extremely perceptive)was that she was suspicious of the attractive looking lady and finiished by saying "If something sounds/looks too good to be true, it usually is."
Don't get me wrong there are some lovely ladies at latinamericancupid.com, and this lady might even be a nice lady, but I want to find one where there are no doubts at all.
At least in Colombia the lady have been screened somewhat and what I see (in person) is what I get.
Hows that for an update?

ps Hot off the press-I just got an email from the lady stating that she was not planning on leaving Brazil anyways as long as her mother was living. Why the f-ck did she write to me in the first place? Did she think I was going to MOVE to (i didn't say visit) Brazil?????

Download the pics onto your pc the upload them on here. Or right click the pics if they show up in the e-mail then upload them on here when doing your post.

I got so exasperated,irritated and frustrated with what was going on, I deleted every email and photo which I sent to her and vice versa.I want nothing to do with her;she is sneaky and left a bad taste in my mouth.
As they say may times in the deli in the supermarket(if you have don't have to take a number), "Who's next please?"
ps From now on I am going to be sure before I run my mouth here;this was embarrassing.

Have him check Mate1.com also;there are a LOT of pretty and lovely ladies from the Philippines over there(and from other countries also of course) and always some on line, meaning you can talk to them instantly;remember virtually all of them(Filipinas) speak English pretty well.
ps I speak from experience regarding the Philippine ladies, as my ex-wife is from there; she is a wonderful person as are her Philippine lady friends who live over here in the States.

No russian female can come into the US without a Fiancee Visa. Meaning your brother would have to go visit her apply for a Fiancee Visa then she would be able to come to the USA for 90 days.

Is she asking him for money?

In don't know all the facts but aren't there tourist visas also?
The Brazilian lady(can I believe here?) claims she presently has some kind of a travel visa which will expire in 2010.
I know when I met my first wife, it took a couple of months to get her over here.
The guys running the tour say is takes from 4-6 months now to get fiancee visa, which allows lady to remain in US for 90 days. If she doesn't marry the guy, well its hasta la vista.

By the way and this is addressed to everyone-NEVER and I mean NEVER send money to a lady in a foreign country you haven't met yet. I don't care how nice she sounds on phone or over the internet.
Virtually every dating service says to this(unless you like parting with your money!).
Believe me I know what I am talking about here!
