I hate to cover a good steak with too much marinade but I will usually marinate in some italian dressing for about an hour and then add some crakced black pepper before I grill them. Four/Five minutes each side alternating grill lines half way through each side.

quick question guys do you ever put little cuts or slices on whatever your marinating before you throw it in the marinate. Ive heard people say to do this and the marinate will get to the inside and soak up, but i also heard not do this because when you are grilling all the juices will come out the cuts.

Load the 2 baskets with charcoal, turn on the propane for 5 minutes. Come back in 15 minutes to a ready grill. Using these baskets are very nice because it uses about half the charcoal as normal and you can move the baskets around to create indirect grilling. It is awesome and only runs about $300.

When I close the lid on it, it gets up to about 650-700 degrees inside. I used to be a charcoal purist, but I converted many years ago.
