The very fact that Phoenix was NOT milking the clock adds to and NOT detracts to my argument.

The counterpoint to that could be the bench wanted to showboat in front of an electric crow, score points, and feel like that contributed to the Kobe/Laker embarassment.

dude, phoenix wanted to pound LA, they were at home, and the stuff with kobe and bell, everyone thinking LA would beat them in the series, getting no respect. remember it is adults playing basketball, jjust cuz they were winning by 30 points does not mean you cant try to score.. they wanted to beat them by 60 if they could and they tried, had nothing to do with the total!!!!!!!

I don't know if anyone mentioned this or not either but Savage I believe said that things seemed to be "more fishy" with Laker games and the spread. Could it be that Vegas linesmakers are more sharp on thos spreads b/c LA is a very public bet team? Maybe their spreads and outcomes are closer to the number more often then not?

What you said is even more reason to believe that fishy stuff could go on and plays right into what I believe(in short-publicly bet team on or against and with totals and perhaps a lot of money riding on the outcome).

Im sorry but there is no way a nba game can be fixed, they get paid millions of guaranteed dollars, i know some players are dumb but no one could be that dumb, risk everything to fix a game.. this is such a ridiculous conversation.
yes there were some instances in the past in college, but my gosh, coming on here and saying this was fixed or that was fixed everytime something doesnt go according to what you think shoud happen. GET A LIFE! find something else to occupy your time and please dont get into services, we know how you feel there also.

ps I think you are all wet about NBA players being dumb-some of these were raised in ghetto and having a lot of money itself doesn't change the way they think.
It seems to me that a few years ago a baseball player who made plenty(can't recall the name) was "dumb" enough to steal something from Derek Jeter's locker.
