I hear ya' Phil. At least you can get tickets. Look above at what a Sox game costs on average. Having less seats here is the biggest problem of all right now. Most ball parks are bigger than Fenway but either way, it is ridiculous!
And think about the new Yankee Stadium for a second...400 seats that they will sell for $2500 per seat per game!!! That is something like $80 million in revenue! Their new stadium is going to print money!

Alot like the one down in Dallas for the Cowboys. Have you heard about the PSL's and other shit with that one? INSANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PSL's..I have seasons to the Giants (2 seats) and will be forced to buy a PSL for each and all I know is that it is somewhere between $1k - $20k PER SEAT!

Personal Seat License. You have to pay it for THE RIGHT to buy season ticket, where you then have to buy the 2 pre-season games, along with the 8 home games, at full price.
It is a one-time fee so I don't have t pay if every year.
Good thing the Phillies wouldn't part with Carrasco for CC...a stud, proven pitcher for some guy who is supposedly good in the minors...nice job once again by the Phillies FO...oh wait, they just signed Lidge to 3 yrs, 37 1/2 million...WTF
No team should ever give a pitcher more than a four year contract; I call this the Barry Zito rule.
Milwaukee shoudn't give Sheets the five years he wants---he has no history of staying healthy.
They shouldn't give CC the seven years he wants----he's thrown too many innings.
Small market teams need to develop from within but can't give long term contracts to pitchers. When they do make a trade like this, it better work out.
As I said, if CC takes them deep in the playoffs then it is a good deal....but only if that happens.
If either Sheets or CC is a Brewer next year, I will publicly declare myself an idiot. It just ain't gonna happen
IMHO, Milwaukee is blowing their load right now on CC and that's it. It would be a miracle if he re-signs, same with Sheets cause both are going to be looking for long term contracts, and they will get it, but not in Milwaukee where the payroll is already at their cap of $90 million.
To say that if they lose both and get the 4 first round draft picks is humorous to me cause that means what....4-5 more years of grooming these prospects into major league ready players?
Princess Fielder is already pissed that milwaukee didn't give him a raise and I would not be surprised if he bolted as well.
Its now or never, and that's a scary thought considering that there are two other teams in that division that have more playoff experience on the field and in the dugout. Ned Yost is good for at least 10 more losses on his own by his own bonehead decisions.
If I was Milwaukee, I would have gone for a 2nd teir pitcher and waited for the deadline to shore up the back end of the bullpen. Gag-me is not the answer.
Hey, good for them. But to think that Hendry won't go out and shore up what the Cubs need to put them over the top is absurd. Getting healthy is bigger then CC with Zambrano coming back and Soriano coming back IMO.
Yeah, I'm biased. We'll just leave that out there. But CC can only throw once every 5 days. That bullpen which is and has been the problem for them throws just about every day and they haven't and unless the owner ponies up more can't do anything else this season.
