  • He's been lights out.

I hope Ned Yost leaves him out there for another 5-6 starts throwing complete games.

By the time the middle to end of september hits, his arm will be jelly!!!

ERA 3.83....and this includes the early season bad start....he's been lights out of late, just gets no run support.....If he'd be witht he Rangers, he might just be 17-1 ....Rangers can score...

      Innings Pitched 122.1
      Gave up just 54 runs
      2 Shutouts
      3 complete games

      here's the amazing stat...
123 Strike outs to just 34 Walks....

Yeh, he's over the hill.....He's gonna be a great asset to the Brew Crew, and as I said, if they get him runs, he'll make a difference......Hope so, cause they're paying him enough
This was my take before he went to the Brew Crew....since then 4-0 (3-0 last 3 w/ Clev---so 7-0 in last 7), 3 complete games in a row....

Lights out pitching....the Man is good, damn good.....give him a few runs, and a decent BP, when needed, he is tough....

      STATS DON'T LIE

He is barely getting over 100 pitches though in these starts...guy is a workhorse...he is the best in the business.

          AGREED

If I had a franchise, and could choose any one pitcher first, it would be CC......

IMHO, Milwaukee is blowing their load right now on CC and that's it. It would be a miracle if he re-signs, same with Sheets cause both are going to be looking for long term contracts, and they will get it, but not in Milwaukee where the payroll is already at their cap of $90 million.

To say that if they lose both and get the 4 first round draft picks is humorous to me cause that means what....4-5 more years of grooming these prospects into major league ready players?

Princess Fielder is already pissed that milwaukee didn't give him a raise and I would not be surprised if he bolted as well.

Its now or never, and that's a scary thought considering that there are two other teams in that division that have more playoff experience on the field and in the dugout. Ned Yost is good for at least 10 more losses on his own by his own bonehead decisions.

If I was Milwaukee, I would have gone for a 2nd teir pitcher and waited for the deadline to shore up the back end of the bullpen. Gag-me is not the answer.

Hey, good for them. But to think that Hendry won't go out and shore up what the Cubs need to put them over the top is absurd. Getting healthy is bigger then CC with Zambrano coming back and Soriano coming back IMO.

Yeah, I'm biased. We'll just leave that out there. But CC can only throw once every 5 days. That bullpen which is and has been the problem for them throws just about every day and they haven't and unless the owner ponies up more can't do anything else this season.

                  Very risky.

Bump cause a wise lil man was right on the money.

Once you get to that bullpen....

                        Sorry my little cheese head.

If CC could pitch 5 days a week you'd all be running away. He's a stud...but that back end of the bullpen will be your demise.

Why did it take you 5 starts to bump?

Cause when you actually have a game plan against a pitcher like the Cubs did against CC and get to the bullpen which I said was their glaring weakness, you can see what the results very well could be more times then not.

And the other 4 starts weren't against teams that are going to make the playoffs either.

In fact in five starts against playoff teams (if season ended today) he's 0-2, and his team is 1-4.

My point was made perfectly last night. That's why it was bumped.
