The character flaw was towards you, if you consider Bonds one of the greatest of all time, then cheating is "good with you" if you can turn a "blind eye" with your "steriods weren't banned or tested" then I can see why you have such a hard time judging greatness.....and if you for one minute can compare Bonds to Mantle or Mays you tell me all I need to know. You are so right Frank.....but unfortunately Stevenson will probably get suspeneded and West won't.......why.......well of course the OVER HYPE of Lebron James. The other thing I think is funny, how many times did Jordan or Magic or even Bird go into an arena and hear the chant "over rated" curious question as we speak to the over hype and fan reaction to James.

i dont even know why i am responding to you but your dislike for lebron james is ridiculous..you obviuosly know nothing about basketball...so your gonna tell me that barkley, malone, stockton, dwight howard, steve nash, dirk are not great players? get a clue...its a team sport...lebrons cast is average at best and thats because they are open all the time because of his ability to draw double and triple teams...why do you think the spurs and pistons are in it every year? they play great TEAM defense...basketball is not a one on one sport...i guess lebrons near triple double wasnt that great or when they went on a 13-0 run in the second qtr and lebron had 8 of those points to take a nice lead into the half wasnt that great either...i forgot they won the east last year also with larry hughes (who by the way admitted to not playing his hardest every game) and drew gooden...where has d wade been the last 2 years besides at the bottom of a weak eastern confrence ( this is coming from a huge d wade fan) learn about the game a bit before you call lebron overrated...im not trying to sound like a bball genius or anything but if you watch the game consistently i have no idea how you can associate lebron with the word overrated.

A baseball list is harder to produce because it goes back a lot further than the NFL. I'll make sure I have a list to you by tomorrow though. I guess when AROD is done and hasn't won a title, he won't be considered Top 5?

So how is the league being racially integrated cheating? How did it "enhance" their numbers? So they wouldn't have played as well against black players as they did against white? What about Mays and Mantle? Mantle given the same "advantage" that Bonds chose to take wouldn't have been greater? You can't play this "blind eye" crap and call yourself a fan. He cheated, I am a huge McGuire fan or was, but his escapades make me sick, and though I want to think of him as a good player. All I can think of him as is a cheater, because he did. Sorry dude, Bonds cheated and anyone with a love for the great game of baseball can see it NO other way. Even without cheating he wouldn't be a top 5, incredible hand eye coordination, but not a Top 5 of all time.

So Jimmy, love your list, but one question. IF your numbers make you great theory is true. And James is GREAT, how can you leave Dimaggio off your list. His 56 game hit streak will never be broken IMHO, yet you think James is GREAT and he has done nothing even close to as hard as that accomplishment was.......YET you will throw the GREAT tag on him and Dimaggio isn't even in you top 5. I don't disagree with your list, but is the 56 game streak ever going to be broken....probably not. So with the numbers make you great theory, how can he not be there?
