I keep hearing he's way ahead of MJ. MJ played college ball. LeBron didn't. Let's compare their seasons. MJ won titles in his 6th, 7th and 8th full season. Next year will be Lebron's 6th season. Does anyone expect Cavs to compete for the NBA title next season?

It is hard for me to say if he is overrated. I do know that he is the greatest driver I have ever seen. The league has never seen a 6'9" 250+ pounder with so much speed, power, and agility. Nobody can stop him driving to the hole. He is also a very good passer and I think he does make his teammates better. That being said his jumper needs work, and I think it will improve.

He is nowhere close to MJ , BUT he is ealisy the 2nd best player in the leauge.

His supporting cast is MUCH worse than what MJ had (Pippen, Grant, Pax ,Rodman etc.)

Nobody has that turn around jump shot from the baseline that Jordan can make so consistently. Bottom line is Lebron is an average shooter. Good shooters don't don't hit 71% from the free throw line.

What is sad is this, is he a good player YES no doubt. BUT because of the hype and how the media handles "the chosen one" he gets every call........what has he done to deserve every call? Nothing! He is a media darling, the NBA needs him to be good and to advance. Yesterday, he is going for a loose ball after the jump ball with I believe under a minute to go, he falls on his ass, and the foul is on Washington......is was such a joke. You guys who want to say You don't have to have a championship to be great, it maybe some what true. But if you are that good, and you TRULY make others around you better. You are going to get enough chances to eventually get yourself a ring. I don't think Lebron makes others around him better. There is NO doubt he is incredibly talented. And actually the NBA probably has never seen anyone like him, size, speed etc. But his overall skills (that jumpshot and when he chooses to shoot it) needs a ton of work. Like I have said before, lets just reserve "his greatness" for when "the chosen one" truly does something...........and to compare him to the greatest basketball player of all time Micheal Jordan is laughable. I would take Magic before I would James, at his age, granted way more talent around him, but Magic and Bird really did make lesser talented players much better. But I also think that Lebron is at a huge disadvantage because of his COACH as well, IMHO but that is a different post.

BWWAAAAHHHH!! What a joke, I will give you the arm across the face on the drive, and I was SHHOOOCCKEED that he didnt get that call. As was James, which is even better to watch, him just lay there and not even get his ass up and hustle back on defense. Another sign of his UNgreatness, MJ would have been down on the defensive end, making sure someone knew he was fouled. As for the foul on the jump ball, you obviously have bought in on the hype which is your right......but let me tell you something, had roles been reversed and Butler would have fell on his ass, it would have been no foul and probably a traveling call. Face it, the Cavs have a clear shot to the Finals, because Stern needs Lebron there, you can be as blind as you want LiveJive, but James gets all the calls, and still only shoots 71% from the line.

                            He can't shoot.

He drives to the basket and gets every call.

I'm not a Cavs or Lebron fan, but he took a bad team to the finals...yea, he didn't win it, but look who he has on the team...the next best player is Daniel Gibson IMO...that's brutal.

The big Z for the Cavs is a very nice player.
