Just today I had another lovely conversation on line via instant communication with a lady, 40, an economist from Brazil, who speaks beautiful English.
She is going to post her photo later-also divorced with no kids-perfecto!(for me anyways;many younger guys would prefer someone in their 20's or 30's).

Monte and everyone else who is interested, I want to be a little clearer about www.latinamericancupid.com.
I have received hundreds of emails of ladies wanting to communicate, but in reality there is only about 10% with whom I want to communicate.
Here are some of the reasons I have rejected the 90%(believe me I wrote to some very attractive ladies who ignored me also;it is not a one way street).
1) No chemistry at all-not physically attractive and/or overweight
2) Lack of not finishing high school;I would prefer someone with college, but highscool is ok if they are intelligent.
3) Children living in the home-don't want this for ME no matter how beautiful they are.
4) Not intelligent at all;this is related somewhat to #2.
5) Those whose motives I don't trust; suggestive photos in webcam, etc. I have exposed several already and let them know about it.
6) Those over my age range of 49(50 tops);plenty of ladies over that write in and ignore what I asked for in my profile;actually that applies to # 3 above also.
Believe me, this is not a website with all loving,young ,honest, raving beauties with PHD's with great jobs.
On the other hand, as you all know it only takes one, and between this and my tour, I am optimistic and having a lot of fun in the imterim.
Obviously many of you have standards different than mine;I thought I wold mention it.

Update time-
I am still getting a lot of letters and/or interests from ladies around the world including Brazil.
The biggest problem with Brazilian ladies is that most of them speak Portuguese only
I speak English and some Spanish but no Portuguese;thus this is a problem;let me tell you though that there are some really nice looking babes in their 20's-40's from there.
The implication is if any of you guys speak Portuguese out there and are looking for a nice lady, you could have a field day with some of the lovelies from Brazil who are seeking an American guy.

One added thing-if any of you guys don't mind if the lady has a child or even more than one child(personally I prefer that she doesn't have children or at least that the children be grown, although I could possibly be interested if she had one child in mid to late teens), let me tell you there are some real Latin American "knockouts" out there in their 20's and 30's looking for a nice guy(sure money is a motive in some cases, but so what?).

Its quiet today.
I did though have a conversation with a lovely lady from Peru with whom I worked for 22 years;she is a very bright lady and knows how Latin Ladies think,
She told me that even though she is Peruvian, that a Colombian lady would be a better choice for someone like me all things considered.
On second thought, I sure hope she was not saying that just to keep me away from her own kind. lol
Departure date is 3 weeks from tomorrow and counting.

RWall-I am optimistic;if the overwhelming response on the 2 dating sites to my photo and profile and internet is any indication of my upcoming trip, I should be able to meet a few nice ladies;that is all I can really ask for.
I don't want to be too optimistic however, and am already considering tours to other places (0r perhaps even back to Colombia) if this one doesn't work out.
You know back in the early 90's when I met and later married my lovely wife from the Philippines, it didn't happen on the first trip to the Philippines.
On my first trip to the Phils, I met some ladies with whom I had been corresponding for a while(remember back then no internet dating and virtually the only way you could correspond unless the ladies had a phone, was to write letters back and forth and that took weeks-today thankfully with internet is so much quicker), and it didn't work out with any of them;I really think in some cases someone wrote the letters for them because they had hardly any knowledge of English when I met them in person and several seem different than letters led me to believe.Thus more determined than ever, I wrote just a few letters this time to a few ladies and several months later once again took my traveling show to the Phils and this time met some more ladies including the lady who was to become my wife.

Savage my main man- I had correspondence with a russian girl half my age. Careful- if you bring them in - I believe you have some responsibility for them. If they stay -you are responsible still more. I found out that a translator was writing the happy e-mails each day with I want to come see you. Check on this- but there are laws that protect them - not you. Stay happy

Remember in this case though that the ladies I am going to meet on the tour I am NOT corresponding with now;these ladies with whom I am corresponding now are ones whom I met on the internet and are corresponding with me for the most part in Spanish;thus I assume it is them especially when some of the conversations are via instant messenger(right on line).
I have been told that the ladies I will meet on the tour have been screened (don't ask me how they do it), and when needed, translators are provided(i have heard they are excellent and also have a good insight into the motives of the lady).
Don't forget also that I am older and more times than not can size up a person.
I appreciate your concern and will be super careful and cautious especially with those on the internet.

I don't agree with your assessment when you say ALL foreign ladies are the way in which you describe them;many, not all are seeking American men because men from their own country in many cases are unreliable, cheat on them, get drunk all the time, treat them poorly, and many other things.
I know for a fact that the divorce rate of American men who marry foreign ladies is far less than the 50% rate between American men and American women.
In addition, (and I know this from experience from my first wife) ladies from the Philippines and I am positive Latin ladies are in general more caring, loving, etc. than many American ladies.
Hey-I hung out at EHarmony, JDate and Match.com for a long time and didn't find anyone because I (and probably a lot of other men) weren't good enough for them.
i am sick of stuck up and snobby American ladies, and I want a younger woman. What better thing than to try this venture!
Just think of the many American men who get taken to the cleaners by their wives in the divorce and then go out and find another American women and the same thing happens all over again.
Well, I am different, have plenty of time, patience, money to pursue the lady I want to meet.
