God....I wouldn't stuff anything into a lobster. There was a real fine restaurant here and the chef was a gourmet type. He made the most tender and best tasting tasting lobster I've ever had. I asked him what his secret was. He said he baked them....

      • Wayne, boss fly's in to Bangor, vacations in Bar Harbor. He asked if you ever taken the CAT to Nova Scotia or been to Lubeck to watch the whales.

He stays at the Bar Harbor Inn when he goes there

Have you ever had a Maine Lobster? You would not want it baked. It dries out more when baked and stuffed. Boiled or steamed, then inserted into warm melted butter is the hizzle for shizzle!

Nope, never have. The Scotia Prince used to be the big boat trip around here until the faster "Cat" came in. I'm way south of him. Bangor is 2 hours north and Bar Harbor is 2 hours northeast. Tell him i'm closer to Portland!

              • Had Maine lobster once. I came out to Boston and met a friend. We ate lobster in Maine and Boston. Then drove to Calif. I've tried baking lobster here. It's not bad. I preferred it over boiling. The Pacific lobster here gets rubbery easy. I hate that.

Dawg, i buy lobster meat up here by the pound all picked and packed in bags. A 2 pound bag is only about $40. Pure meat though, no shells!

The hurricane season is really much like your blizzards as far as preparation goes(BUT I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THAT BECAUSE I PAY PEOPLE TO BOARD MY HOUSE). Except we get much more of a notice. The hurricane season has only recently been active. Knock on wood, I didn't have to put the shutters up at all this year. Which only takes 30 minutes tops to put up. I can remember many years not ever having to put them up at all.

I CAN AFFORD TO LIVE ANYWHERE.
must you always rub your money in our face?
