If you move Meg to Illinois, in a sense "you are taking the Calif out of her" and making her an Illinois girl. But, when she says, as she did, she misses the weather in Calif....You're saying in a sense, "you can't take the girl out of Calif. " and move her to Illinois. Why? because if you do, she will miss it, like she does....
