What a team does the year before has no effect on the team playing next year... IMO, Carolina Panthers, Same team 2 years ago went to playoffs, Same team last year...No playoffs

I don't understand that at all. Not that Jeff Garcia is great, but I don't see how bringing on a $12 million, 38 yr old Brett Favre puts you over the top. I just don't think the difference between the two is worth it. I don't know....

I agree and i don't get it either. Maybe it is his only choice with the Jets? I don't know. I really think he might just say fuck it now and not play. It is getting really late to start with a new team at this point and i think the whole G.B. reaction to this has soured Brett Favre.

1) Gruden loves having 7 QBs on the roster

2) Garcia wants more money and is not happy

3) Garcia isn't exactly young and is extremely fragile and is one hit away from retirement

4) Gruden and Favre go back to their days in GB
