Why isn't ENOUGH IS ENOUGH for Favre and go to a non-division rival?

Brett asked out of GB first, Then asked to come back 3 weeks later. Then changed his mind again 2 or 3 days later. GB then went the next 4-5 months including the draft preparing for life without Favre.

If he leaves camp, he blinked also. He acknowledges that being there isn't a good thing so he did the right thing and showed up trying to force GB's hand.

GB did what they had to do and let him showed up.

If this report is true and he leaves camp, they both blinked imo. If Favre didn't blink he would pound his fist on the table and say I have a contract, I don't care if I am 1st or 5th string, I am playing...and the Union would support him. But he realizes that is not best for either him or the organization...if the report is true.

You sure about all that frank? According to himself today, a bunch of bullshit has been put out by the Packers through this whole thing. What exactly makes their's the word of god?

The Packers have proved in just the last 24 hours how fucked up their retarded front office is. First they say he is welcomed and will compete for the job and 12 hours later behind closed doors and once everyone has left, they basically told him that their earlier decision was a lie.

3J, He left practice to go have a meeting with Thompson. Why? Because they do not want him there.

Wayne, they offered him a $25 million package to stay retired...I know he is a hick but did he have to fly all the way to GB to find out they didn't want him?

Nobody. That's my point. Favre hasn't said much about G.B. until today but all here seem to think Thompson's words are 100% on mark. Well, we are finding out today that maybe, just maybe, that isn't true and his (Thompson) lie in the last 24 hours makes me think Favre may not be too far off with his claims.

That is what I have been trying to drill into some peoples heads the last week. And guess who is not going to "win"? My guess would be it's the guy under contract.

He was told yesterday that it will be an open competition in G.B.

Were you not around to see that 3J?

Thompson thinks Aaron Rodgers is a guy who will lead them to a better record?

Favre and Rodgers are both under contract, right?

                          • What It Boils Down To Is This, If Brett Favre Gives You The Best Chance To Making It Back To The Nfc Championship Game He Should Play.

If You Determine Aaron Rodgers Gives You The Best Chance Of Making To That Game He Should Play.

I Personally Think Brett Gives Them The Best Opportunity To Making It To That Game. Everything Else Is Theatrics And Ego.

Exactly and i guess winning isn't what is best for this team.

There are only a handful of people that actually know what was said and they won't all tell the same story. Maybe he was told it would be open competition under certain circumstances and Favre didn't like that option??? Speculate away...
