FYI: ....COMP PLAY 4 "ALOHA FRIDAY" ....ENJOY!

      **TOP RATED PLAY ON:

      Dodgers -117

-In this game peeks, streaks, valleys, timing, upswings and downswings, or whatever you want to call it, is all part of this game....And, knowing when a team or a player will be on the upswing or going on a downswing is sometimes hard to do.....So tonight, I am going to take a guess at this one, and say that LA's Lowe will turn his poor past fortunes around on the Road, where he is 0-3... and also do it against Arizona, who he is 0-1 in his last two starts against this year....I will also say that with the return of their Canadian Closer, Gagne back in the BP...his presence their is going to spark better play in La's other starters and relievers...just because they know he's with them again, but more importantly behind them...Confidence should be high with his return and that is sometimes all that is needed, especially in the late innings and against a top team in the league.

Now other things I like in this one is the fact that the Dodger's is going up against another LHP, who they have been finding alot of success against....This year vs LHPs, they are averaging a solid 6.4 rpg, alittle over 10 hits per game, hitting .297 at the plate, and has a .354 OBP against them...Also good is that they are averaging 5.6 rpg and .274 hitting on the Road this year.

Lowe is a veteran, and he has been holding his own this year..eventhough he has only a 4-4 record so far...He has still been solid holding his ERA to a low of 3.02 with a WHIP of just 1.203...In his last two games he was able to put together two solid wins against Florida and the Angels....

Estes also coming off a strong last 3 game starts...where he went 2-0...However, Estes didn't get a decision against LA on April 8, and is 6-8 with a 5.11 ERA in 25 career starts versus the Dodgers...Plus, I feel that his team is going on this unpredictable downswing...as they have only averaged 2 rpg, besides that 12 run circus they were in vs SD, in their last 5 games played....And, in their last 10 games vs RHP's they are only averaging .237 at the plate against them..

But, the BP is where I feel this one could be won tonight....and with the return of Gagne, and all of the psychological pluses he will bring to this team....added to the fact that Zona's BP in their last 3 games has an ERA of 13.95 and 2.45 WHIP, and the Big Fact that they are now the one's who will be without their reliable go to Closer in Lyon's who is on the DL...they will be the one who will have to face more uncertainty, especially in the late innings....Simply put, I like the Dodgers to get this one done tonight with the starting and closing of Lowe and Gagne vs Estes and 13.95 BP without their Closer...... Go Dodgers!

*RECAP UP TO 5TH INNING OF THE DODGER GAME:

Below is parts from my Write-Up I posted with this play...Lets see how the Dodgers are doing so far.

Estes also coming off a strong last 3 game starts...where he went 2-0...However, Estes didn't get a decision against LA on April 8, and is 6-8 with a 5.11 ERA in 25 career starts versus the Dodgers.

-Ok...Estes is perfectly on track giving up 4 runs already as they go into the 6th inning.

-Ok...perfectly on track right now vs LHPs...4 runs, hitting .294 at the 5th inning mark...and almost at their 5.6 rpg avg on the Road as well.

The D-Backs only averaged 2 rpg, besides that 12 run circus they were in vs SD, in their last 5 games played....And, in their last 10 games vs RHP's they are only averaging .237 at the plate against them..

-Ok..through 5 innings, the D-Backs are keeping to their current run production struggles which I spoke about...and they are around their average vs RHPs hitting just .254 up to the 6th.

          Early Report:

So far, so very accurate again ...Lowe is pitching a gem, and if not for the 2 balks he was charged with in the 1st, which probably affected his focus..thus leading to him giving up a HR following them....But, as I mentioned he is a veteran and he is coming off of 2 solid starts and confidence should be high...So far he is showing it, giving up only 5 hits and holding his ERA to a low like he has done all year long..

Now the 2nd part of this one, will need to play out and that is the Dodgers calling on Gagne to close it out...Lets see if my prediction and Write-Up stating that the Dodgers are on the Upswing while the D-Backs are seemingly going on a Downswing, holds up....I feel it will and that Lowe will break his road woes and get a win, but we will see.... Go Dodgers!

Well, one thing I cant cap out is the Fuckin Coaches who decides when and when not to take a pitcher out, or who they will put in...Again, their decision to take out a starter who is dominating the game and only really needs to take it to the 7th..before giving it up...cost us a two run lead...After the Dodgers reliever gives up a Bomb to tie it up...Shit! :angryfire

              *DODGERS GAME UPDATE:

Ooops...I forgot about the last portion of my Write-Up where I spoke about how this one would...well you can read it below.

But, the BP is where I feel this one could be won tonight....and with the return of Gagne, and all of the psychological pluses he will bring to this team....added to the fact that Zona's BP in their last 3 games has an ERA of 13.95 and 2.45 WHIP, and the Big Fact that they are now the one's who will be without their reliable go to Closer in Lyon's who is on the DL...they will be the one who will have to face more uncertainty, especially in the late innings....Simply put, I like the Dodgers to get this one done tonight with the starting and closing of Lowe and Gagne vs Estes and 13.95 BP without their Closer.

Zona's BP relievers holds true as they give up 3 runs in the 8th to give the lead right back to the Dodgers.

-Oh and BTW, the Dodgers have just hit their 10 hit avg vs LHPs and also exceeded their 6.4 rpg avg vs them, and their 5.4 rpg on the Road...LOVE IT BABY!

FYI: ...Here's your early Comp Play, straight off my EARLY SET of PLAYS I released so far today...Enjoy!

                  **TOP RATED PLAY ON :

                  Atlanta -125

-Atlanta one of the best teams at home is coming into this one off a 5-1 loss last night....I like this situations today for several reasons....For one the Braves are 16-6 at Home this season...and they are 6-1 playing on Saturdays this year, and 42-20 over the last 3 years...Also, after a loss they have been able to bounce back more times than not this year with a win in 12 of the 20 games following a loss...In the last 3 years, their record in the next game following a loss is 101-52....Philly, on the other hand, is just 9-14 in the following game after a win.

Next situation I like in this one is that a struggling Lieber will be on the hill for Philly...Lieber is coming into this one on a 3 game losing streak..and have gone 1-4 after starting out the season at 4-0...In this month of May he has a 1-3 record with a 5.65 ERA...And in his last 3 games his ERA is a whopping 9.39 ERA and a WHIP of 1.761...In these 3 games he has given up 16 ERs, 20 hits, and 6 HRs, all over just 15.3 innings....Lieber also in his 10 starts on the year has also given up a whopping 14 HRs...with 8 of them coming on the Road...Bombs Away Baby!

The Braves send their young lefty in Ramirez to the hill again...In his 3 Home starts this year, he has performed excellently posting a 2-0 record with a solid 2.89 ERA and WHIP of 1.178...Atlanta is 3-0 this year when he started at Home...and they are also 3-1 this year at Home vs Philly as well...

BP's in their last 3 games are fairly even in ERA's...however, you gotta like what Bobby Cox has put together for them to go 7-1 in Save attempts at Home this season and 13-5 overall in save opportunities.

Lieber, on April 16, did lead the Phils to a 2-1 win over Atlanta where he held them to just 1 run, 7 hits in 8 innings on the hill....However, April was a solid month for him...but it is clear that he is faden fast in this month of May....Remember, what goes up must come down...well after starting out with a 5-1 record and 2.57 ERA after 7 starts...he again is clearly not in the right pitching mode at the moment, and this makes him a prime bounce back candidate today for the Braves.

Ramirez, on the other hand, has a perfect situation today, as he has already defeated the Phillies earlier in the season, and also is a perfect 3-0 with a 2.54 ERA vs them in his career...Add this to the fact that he loves pitching at Home and the Braves loves playing on Saturdays, not to mention that they are also coming into this one off a loss to the Phillies in yesterdays opening game of the series makes me not like this game, but Love this game today..

Lastly, the Braves at Home this year are averaging 5.6 rpg, hitting .279 at the plate, and also has a .346 OBP as well...Plus, at Home their defense has been holding opponents to a average of just 3.2 rpg and .244 average at the plate...The Braves offense at Home has recorded 21 HRs in their 22 Home games and they also been averaging 3.6 extra base hits in Home games as well....Lieber is just 3-6 in his 10 career starts vs the Braves...and today, he's in Traaaable.

*disregard any typos or grammatical errors, as its to freakin early in Hawaii to even type shit out...let alone edit anything!

-Ok Gang...if you want to get the Rest of My Best Plays ..just contact me and lets Rock-N-Roll....So far this Week (M-Fri) my Record is 21W-9L= +23.63 Units (all plays were played at 1 to 2 units, with only my "BGP"-GOW being played for 5 units)....Check back later as I may post another Comp Play for everyone here to Enjoy....Till then though, lets do some damage with this Bad Boy....GL to us and LETS GO GET EM!...ALOHA CC

                    FYI:...COMP PLAY 4 "SHOOTOUT SATURDAY"....ENJOY!

                    **TOP RATED PLAY ON:

                    Spurs/Suns UNDER 214

The Spurs is about Defense...In fact they possess the best defense in the league, holding opponents to an average of 88.4 ppg overall and 86.4 ppg on their floor....The Suns is all about Offense...And they are the highest scoring Offense in the league this past year averaging 110 ppg overall...However, you didnt hear me say that they are the Best offense in the league did you...Sure they can score alot with their run and gun style of play...But, we all know that it is a Superior Defense that more times than not will be able to dictate the tempo of the game and in the process disrupt the play of an Offense built to fly and sky, which usually leads to a win for them....The Spurs possess the best defense in the league and they already are up 2-0 on the highest scoring offense in the league and did it on their floor as well...Solid!

Now, I know that the Suns are to good to be shut down completely, but the Spurs is good enough to hold them down enough to control them from getting into their style of play...With this one at Home for the Spurs, I am expecting them to tighten their defensive play by slowimg down Phoenix with its halfcourt excellence even more...The last thing the Spurs want to allow is for this game to be played in the tempo that the Suns want, eventhough they have proven in the last two games to have the horses to run in an up-tempo pace with them if necessary...Well they have proven themselves to everyone what they can do, now its time for them to show how their strength (defense) is way more superior than anothers teams superior offense..

Remember, the Spurs are a veteran filled team who has already won a championship and who also know how they lost one as well...They also know where there strengths lie and that is with playing to the Two "D's"....Discipline on Defense...followed by Duncan on Offense....The Spurs will play their style of ball tonight and they should be able to control their floor and thus the tempo of this game..In their House this year, their record is 43-4...and where they have only lost once in the last 2 1/2 months...Bottom line is you dont acquire this kind of record in your House by playing your opponents style of ball or allowing them to force their style upon you either...No Way!...The Spurs dominate their opponents in their House with their style of play...and tonight I expect this not to change at all...This means a lower scoring game, solid defensive play, and a plan set to be used if the game somehow shifts the other way...Spurs at Home are the best, the Sun on the Road are the best...I take the best Home team with the best Defense in the league any day and everyday of the year...Opponents only average 86.4 ppg at the SBC Center...and the Spurs only lost 4 total games out of 47 played here....Enough Said!

Oh, I forgot to address the Sun's G/F Johnson's return to this game and how it may impact the Total in this game....Well, my view is that it is a good thing that he is returning to play in this game...In fact, I am expecting that his return is another reason why many are thinking this game will go over the total, as he is the Suns 3rd leading scorer, is averaging 19.0 points in the playoffs, and did finish 2nd in the league with his 47.8% shooting from behind the Arc..which he has gone 13-of-23 from there in the playoff so far...I, on the other hand, feel that his return will help this Total to stay UNDER...because for one, he will struggle a bit with that Hanibal Lecture mask on his face, not to mention that he has been out since game 2 of the series with Dallas....But seriously though, his return and presence will Keyed up upon by the Spurs...They will make it a priority to shut him down, especially since he can be dangerous with his deep shots....So I expect extra pressure to be placed on him by the Spurs defenders....Now, on the other end, his return to the Sun's defense is an Big added plus as he is the Sun's best perimeter defender...and will be key to stopping and slowin down the Spur's backcourt...Expect him to help with defending Manu Ginobili, who is averaging 23 points in this series...but moreso to defend and prevent the Spurs floor leader in PG Parker, who is averaging 26.5 points in their two games, and where he is shooting almost 60% from the field as well....Johnson's return will pay more dividends on the defensive end tonight and with him disrupting the Spurs offense..added with the Spurs on the other end playing and disrupting the Suns tempo with their slow down half court sets...it looks like a perfect fit on both ends to help keep this one Under the Total.

*THESE PAST STATS AND TRENDS: Look good as well.

-Under is 30-16 in Spurs home games.
-Under is 22-10 in Spurs games vs good offensive teams avg 99+ points a game.
-Under is 7-2 after the Spurs allow opponents to score 105 + pts in previous game..
-Under is 11-5 in Phoenix games after coming off an upset loss as a favorite.

-Already won my TOP RATED DOG OF THE DAY selection on the Minnesota Twins....Now lets get this one in the NBA....GL and Aloha CC.

*please disregard any typos or grammatical errors, no time to edit.
