Well today we start a new week and a new run to the Cash...Yesterday was a very solid day for me and what an Awesome way to head into the New Week than off of that Solid ESPN Home Dog Winner I posted on the Mets ...and also my other Special-Top Rated Play of the Day...a EZ Winner on Texas....$WEET!


I have currently won 14 of my last 17 Weeks in the Bases so far...and look to keep thing heating up as we get closer and closer to Football ...So with that said, lets continue to build up that Bankroll and lets continue to Rock-N-Roll...Anyone wanting to dance along with the Rest of Us and with the Rest of My Best ...Then lets do this and LETS GO GET EM! .......Aloha CC.

-Detroit is done...pitching and hitting has gone south and this team is to inconsistant...They must now travel to play in Toronto after that loss yesterday is not easy to do...Toronto still feeling it and playing well, especially at Home...and Bush also playing well in his last 3, compare to Maroth....This one on turf and in the dome and that gives the B-Jays an edge as well..

Det currently lost 8 of their last 9 and 3 straight...Detroit also has a negative road record and only are 37-48 vs RHPs...Toronto is a solid Home team and have avg'd 5.5 rpg, hitting .291 at the plate vs LHPs this year.

Bush also pitching well in his last 3 starts, going 2-0 with an ERA of 3.10 and 1.18 WHIP....While Detroits Maroth continue to struggle with his whopping 9.22 ERA and 1.975 WHIP in his last 3 starts...He has also struggled vs Toronto going just 2-3 with an ERA of 6.75 and WHIP of 1.571...in his career starts vs them...

Today will be Bush's first time going against this Tiger team which give him the edge...and facing this inconsistant and downright disappointed Tigers should be enough to get him his first win at home tonight.... Go B-Jays.

Damn Sorry about that one....I hate it when a team never gives up and continues to play hard as hell..only to fall short in the end...The B-Jays loaded the bases in the 9th with 1 out and couldnt bring one in...They then lose in the 12th on a 2 out ground ball which bounces to high for the 3rd basemens to grab....For the game they left 13 men on base, had 20 hits on 51 at bats, and 3 HRs...Freakin Unreal!...Comps Plays now 11W-6L, the last 17 Comps posted...and more currently 5W-1L the last6 .

-Cards the NL Best Road team at 35-18....and also dominating the NL Central at 34-13...They also are on a 3 game win streak and have won 7 of their last 10..inwhich they are averaging almost 6 rpg...In the last 10 games they have been hitting .286 vs RHPs...While their defense has only allowed 3.9 rpg, and currently their Bullpen the last 3 has an ERA of just 2.25 and WHIP of 1.19....Suppan may not be as dominant as Sheets is but...he has had alot of success vs them going 9-2 in 14 starts...and also pitched a shutout vs Sheets at Milw earlier this year in April for a Cardinal win...He may be struggling of late, but with this defense and offense backing him up..how can you not take the best team in the NL overall and also on the Road...and especially when installed as a Dog.

Milw's Sheets pitching well of late...but he isnt enough to stop the Cards and their balanced team play....He failed in his first attempt this year, before he went on the DL...and in that game the Brewers were a hot hitting team..and he was on his game as well....But, to much Cardinal power and balance for him and the Brewers to overcome...Jim Edmonds also didnt play in that first game as well, but will be in this one today....Milw's BP if needed cant be trusted right now as their ERA is 5.40 and WHIP is 1.91...And, in the last 10 games the Brewers are only hitting .256 at the plate...In addition, Milw is just 3-10 in the last 13 meetings vs the NL's best team..

Toronto's heir to Halladay Chacin's takes the hill today...and so far on the year this Rookie is showing all the signs of that he will turn out to another solid ass pitcher for the B-Jays....He has won Rookie of the Month awards in April, where he posted a 4-1 record with a 2.48 ERA...and in July where he went 5-0 with an ERA of 2.97...Very Solid!....So far in his last 3 games he is continuing his solid play...going 2-1 with an ERA of just 1.40 and WHIP of 1.45...Chacin is coming into this one off a loss to the New York Yankees, where he gave up a season high 6 walks...yet he was still able to hold the Yanks to only 6 hits and just 3 runs in 5 innings on the hill....Btw, this lost was only his first suffered since June 21st....At Home, Chacin is a solid 7-4 with an ERA of 3.50....and Toronto has gone 5-1 in his last 6 starts.

Robertson for Detroit takes the hill for the Tigers...but unlike Chacin, who seems to get better as the year goes by....Robertson like the Tigers offense has been inconsistant and is on a nose dive after playing fairly well up to the All Star break....In fact, Robertson since the All Star break has an ERA of 6.75 ..previous to the break his ERA was just 3.35....and in his last 3 starts he is 0-3 with a whopping ERA of 9.35 and a whopping WHIP of 1.79...

Today I have to side with this B-Jay team who still is playing with alot of energy and motivation as they are still shooting for that Wild Card spot...Being at home to continue their run is a good place to be as Toronto is a solid Home team...while Detroit's Robertson in his last 12 road games is only 4-5 with a 4.98 ERA...and he is coming off a bad loss to Cleveland, who he gave up 6 runs on 10 hits in just 5 innings.....Not good as the Tigers has now loss 4 of their last 5 games...and this will be the first time that they will face Toronto's Future ACE...

Toronto's sticks should get to Robertson enough to send him packing early...and if that happens I dont expect the Tigers Bullpen to do anything to stop this B-Jays team from continuing to put up runs...especially with their ERA being 4.50 and WHIP 1.59 in their last 3 games...While Toronto's BP in their last 3 games has a solid ERA of 2.08 and a low WHIP of 1.19...Lastly, Toronto in their last 10 games has hit .291...while Detroit struggles with inconsistancy and only averaged .257 in this span....Solid!

Tonight, its all B-Jays and their Rookie sensation as they take this series.... GO B-JAYS!

San Diego -109



-The Padres rolling right now winning 5 straight...and 6 of their last 7...While the Mets, on the other hand, have currently lost 8 of their last 11 on the Road..

Mets starter Benson has not been finding to much success, if any on the road this year, as compared to his success he has when starting at home....In fact, Benson is just 3-2 with an ERA of 5.10, in his 7 Road starts this year...and 0-1 in his last two starts....However, at home he is 4-2 with and ERA of 2.90 in his 11 home starts...To bad though because this one is not at Shea but at Petco.....In Benson's last start, he was worked over pretty bad allowing 6 runs on 11 hits in just 5 innings on the hill....And, in his last 2 starts, his outings combined both turned into bad losses as he allowed a combined 11 runs on 17 hits in alittle over 10 innings vs Milw and Houston....Previous to these two disasterous starts, Benson had gone 14 straight starts without allowing more than 4 ERs....Not Good!

SD's Lawrence although struggling at times this year.. has found success vs the Mets in the past...In his last start vs the Mets back in July, he held them to just 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 4.....Lawrence in this game didnt figure into the win, but he did enjoy the opportunity to face the Mets again...a team which you could say he is dominating....In fact, in Lawrence's 5 career outing vs the Mets, he has a record of 3-1 with a solid 2.36 ERA..

Based on Benson's past stats..it seems that he is a Home pitcher...and one that really cant figure out how to consistantly win and shutdown opponents, on the road, just like he does at home...ie, again on the Road he is 3-2 with a 5.10 ERA in seven road starts this season...At Home he is 4-2 with a 2.90 ERA in 11 starts at home.

Tonight I gotta side with the surging Padres who seem to be finally playing some good ball of late...Their offense was in a major funk and slump...but times seems to have reverse this trend as they have currently scored 51 runs in their last 7 games....If the Padres can take out Pedro, then they can take out Benson easy... Go Padres!
