When Snyder first got to Washington he was absolutely clueless. He made terrible decisions that set us back several seasons.
However, since Gibbs got to Washington the team has done well in free agency for the most part bringing in key players like Marcus Washington, Shawn Springs, and Cornelius Griffin (who has been excellent for us despite not being great in NY), as well as trading for a great playmaker in Santana Moss, and drafting several fine players like Taylor, Cooley, and Carlos Rogers (who I think is gonna be great)
The team is very talented, has an all-star coaching staff, and closed last year as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, including an absolute thrashing of the Cowboys that essentially put Washington into the playoffs over Dallas.
So, given all this, you can see why I think it's ridiculous that so many people have Dallas going to the Super Bowl and Washington finishing last just because the Cowboys added a 34 year old WR who sat out last season.
The NFC East is gonna be tough but I firmly believe the Redskins will be right there. There's just no reason to think they won't be.
