  • Football Predictions

It's gonna be a slow day, anybody wanna talk football? Predictions? Etc?
Last year, I think it was dave T, said the Redskins would make the playoffs and the Falcons wouldn't, and I remember thinking no way dude, but sure enough. Who's the sleeper pick this year, the Cowboys?, the Cardinals? Who's the number 1 pick in fantasy football, LT??
If it's too early to discuss, just give me a Who Give A Fuck
    I'll start

Super Bowl Winner : Indy Colts (They need to trade for Thomas Jones, I say give up the #1 pick)
Super Bowl Loser : Carolina Panthers
Sleeper Team : Miami Dolphins (9-7 without a QB)
Biggest Disappointment (team) : Washington Redskins (Brunnell?)
#1 Pick in Fantasy : Larry Johnson

-Cardinals are going to be a sleeper this year, as well as Miami.

    -Steelers will be a dissapointment.

-Patriots and Colts will still be the class of the AFC, I think N.E. could end up back in the Super Bowl, especially if they get Ty Law back.

-NFC wide open again, probably Carolina coming out of it. I think Seattle will not meet expectations.

-I really like the team Dallas has this year, could win the NFC.

That being said, its the NFL, so it will probably be Cleveland/Detroit SuperBowl

If Peyton and the Colts couldn't win with James why do you think they'll win without him? Peyton has yet won a big game.

I think they learned a lesson with the ass kicking the Steelers gave them. I basically think they'll make the adjustments they need too. Before that Steelers game, they looked like they could win the superbowl. I also don't think the runningback needs to be a superstar in that offensive, what I mean by that is, the field is so open and spread out, because of the passing, anybody can run. I do think they should get a Thomas Jones or someone like that. Their D looked so good up until the Steelers game, and so did the O.

Colts will be 15-0, then they will rest their players til the playoffs and lose in the playoffs. They are a finese and timing team, they cant rest. They need to keep playing regardless of their situation.

Superbowl Bengals vs Panthers. Bengals to Win
Biggest Disappointment = Skins. Wont even make the playoffs (NFC East too hard) Next is Arizona (did we forget that their O-line is shitty next to my shit)
                  Sleeper = Bucs
Good team that wont make the playoffs = Miami
                  NFL Kruise
                  2-2*

                  *updated as of 9/9

Everyone is gonna pick the Skins to finish last so I don't see how they can be a disappointment.

Because they made the playoffs last year and are returning the same team. If they go 6-10, that's disappointing.

Biggest Disappointment = Jacksonville (12-4 last year) & Washington (They did go 10-6 and make the Playoffs last year). I don't care if everyone picks Washington last. Compared to last years results, they will take a BIG step backwards (IMO).

Sleeper = Baltimore (Assuming McNair stays healthy and with an easy schedule).

Dallas = Nope, don't they still have Bledsoe? I watched him for years and he doesn't have "IT"!

I like Simms and Cadillac in Tampa Bay. A good young nucleus there. I don't see alot of other bigger movers in the NFC and i'm not buying 'Zona until they prove they can Win. I also DO NOT like Warner at all!

It's now or never for K.C. but i still don't believe in their defense. I would like to slip S.D. in there somewhere but the questions at QB have me scared!

A Healthy Rodney Harrison will be a nice addition!
