    • The best thread EVER! "Great" stories from so many members! I have one that sticks out the most and definately hurts me to this day!
My brother and I had a huge parlay on the Miami Heat taking and the UNDER during the 2005 playoffs. The Heat had the spread covered and the UNDER was in tact by 1 point with just under 10 seconds to go. Snce the Heat had the ball we were "sure" Dwayne Wade would simply dribble the ball around and drain the remaining seconds out. But noooooo, that mother fucker hot dogged the ball the full length of the court with the defenders standing around with their thumbs up their asses and performed some double clutch reverse 360 alley oop to himself dunk to fuck the UNDER by one point and screw us out of ehhhhhhh roughly $2,000. That is the one that caused me to stare in the mirror for a full day!

      • About 20 years ago, BYU was playing Hawaii. The players had their helmets off and were congratulating each other near the Hawaii goalline. With a inside 10 seconds left, a Hawaii player came running on the field to call time out. Seems it was without the coaches permission. He wanted to get in the game himself. BYU got pissed, put their helmets back on, ran a sweep around end and covered the game with no time left. Ouch!! It was about 2am and I'm steaming. No sleep that night and so it goes...

        • I had the Seattle Mariners on two parlays and straght up for a big payoff. Anyway they blew a 11 run lead on sunday night baseball, it was the biggest blown lead in mlb history. I also lost big on a sunday night totals play. The total was 38 1/2 and the Cleveland browns lost 38-0.
