  • What Is The Most Incredible Worst Loss You Ever Had!

This the one that gored me and I just put it up in my other thread!

DO YOU REMEMBER THIS GAME......IT WAS 2-3-4 years ago with the Celtics.....I had the OVER........WENT TO OVERTIME.....AND....I only needed (I think it was 6 or 7 points to cover) Paul Pierce/Walker etc......if I remember right......THE TWO TEAMS SCORED 5 POINTS TOTAL IN THE OVERTIME AND IT STAYED UNDER!!!

ARRRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I WAS WATCHING IT and it was the most incredible thing I have ever seen in the NBA as they were BOTH throwing up shots....AND FOULS......AND EVEN CLANKING FREE THROWS!!

SHADEs OF THE ROOKIE/SOPH NBA All Star Game!
I am NOT schizophrenic......and NEITHER am I! Just paranoid that fear may overcome my insanity!

Last NBA season. I think one of the teams was Memphis. I played the UNDER. With a 1 point something seconds remaining in the game a Memphis player from just inside half court threw up a 3 pointer sending the game OVER by a point. Memphis was winning big. Usually leading teams hold the ball in the final seconds.

        I have 2 again!

One was the over in the Rookie/Soph game losing by a point and they stared at the clock for the last 20 seconds.

The other was a Red Sox game about 10 or so years ago in Detroit. I had the Sox and they had an 8 run lead heading to the bottom of the 9th and gave up 9 runs. It was the most sickening 1/2 inning of baseball i ever watched aside from Mr Buckner in 86'.

Few yrs ago billy joe tolliver for atl fumbled on the 1yrd line next day Dan reeves cut him cost me a GRAND!
Same thing yrs ago skins RB just trying to run out the clock and went 60yrds. for a TD like 25 sec. on clock.. I could go on for days..
Ive lost on onside kick team catches the ball and runs in back for 6 last play of the game.

Had to be last year's Duke/UConn game. I had a horriable tournment already but had one a little back towards the end. I LOVE UCONN and thought they would beat Duke. So I put about $200 on the Huskies. Then dipshit Duhon buries that three at the buzzer to make the cover DISAPPEAR!

Hell yeah. The bad thing was that UConn was getting creamed until the end. They finally take control of the game and lose the cover on a bomb!

I remember a game a few years back-I think Duke or some other good team was involved.
Anyways, my team was up by 6 and favored by 7, and the best foul shooter on my team was fouled at the buzzed;I remember that much.
I needed him to make one to tie and two to win;of course he missed both of them.

I have an absolute great one but too high to tell you now . This one is the best and will save it for tomorrow or another time when we are not so busy. Please remind me .. you'll never guess what the circumstances were.

Tony Vegas's post in the other thread reminded me of a tough loss. I had FSU minus lots of points. They were up big. I forget who they were playing. The opposing team scored a late meaningless TD. They recover the onside kick. Then score another TD. They recover a 2nd onside kick. Then score a 3rd TD for the back door cover and loss for me.
