The Twins were scuffling along for most of the season, hovering around .500, then they have been playing 'silly' with their current 13-3 run-off.

The Twins can not match the A's for starting pitchers, but they would own the Oakland because of the pen. Twinkies bullpen is 25-13 and has saved 79.5% of their chances after losing the closer of the last several years.

The A's continue to struggle away from the Bay area with a 24-32 road record.
