Season record: 196-202 -21.86 UNITS
Two plays for Friday:
OVER 9.5 +109 BOS (LOWE)/DET (MAROTH) - 1 UNIT - 4:05pm Pacific
Lowe has been terrible, and Detroit's offense should be able to take advantage. I bet Lowe is kicking himself for not taking Boston's very generous contract offer before the season started. Maroth is hittable, especially against a lineup like Boston's.
UNDER 9.5 -119 OAK (REDMAN)/MIN (RADKE) - 1 UNIT - 5:10pm Pacific
Oakland usually has a tough time against flyballers like Radke. Minnesota actually has a higher team BA against lefties, but looking at their lineup individually, lefties should match up better against themGLTA

Robert Ross FREEBIE
Boston Red Sox at Detroit Tigers
Friday, August 6, 2004 7:05 P.M. EDT EST
Derek Lowe sports a good career record vs. Detroit but he has not won at Detroit since June, 2002. His road ERA this year is 5.97. The Tigers have lost four straight, all at home, winning the last time Mike Maroth started which was on Saturday. Look for Maroth to be their lucky charm again as the Cats snap their losing streak.
Good Luck - Robert Ross

The Rockies were just swept at home by the cubs and their trio of right-handed power pitchers: Wood, Zambrano and Prior. They drop in class then against both the Reds & their rookie southpaw Clausen. The rockies are 18-11 TY vs. LHP. The Rockies own southpaw, Estes, is 66-28 as a Home Favorite since 1997.

TRACE ADAMS
Now 15-5 with my comp plays as Anaheim pounded Minnesota yesterday.
Tonight, the Rockies will explode on Brandon Claussen and the fading Reds. Colorado just had a tough go of it at home against the Cubs, but Cincinnati is just 3-7 their last 10 games, and are facing a hurler they have not had much success against of late.
Shawn Estes has won his last 3 starts against the Reds, allowing just 4 runs over 24 innings. Estes does it again, as the Rockies roll.
2* Colorado w/Estes
