blackbeard-Big Al had a "convincing" pick on his GOY two weeks ago on Arizona against LA, which resulted in a 10-3 loss;I still regard that pick as one of the worst (if not the worst) GOY pick in all the many years I have been following services.
If anything, considering the way the teams were playing before the pick was made, LA should have been made the GOY play.
No good capper would EVER give out a pick like Zona as a GOY considering the circumstances.

Yup I remember pointing out that pick as a stinker, which is probably why I bet the Yanks(up 4-1 in the 4th, 4-3 I'll shut up now)
Blackbeard-I am not sure I get your point.
If you are saying hindsight is easy, then you are missing the point. Disregard this.
In case of Arizona. no matter what criterion he used, they didn't warrant more than a regular play-no way a GOY;even if game had somehow won, I would say the same thing.
Different strokes for different folks, but cappers who cap their GOYS like that don't personally interest me.
ps Sorry for above;I think you are agreeing with me;I think I misunderstood you.
ps I played the Yankees also;a REAL good capper Sebastian gave it out.
I happen to agree that the Arizona pick by Big Al was stunningly dumb for a major service like his. It's not like he was getting awesome value either. Arizona is unplayable at anything under +380 right now, especially against a hot team like the Dodgers were at the time of that game.
All of that being said, I haven't in all my years found any service that is particularly good at baseball. The Sports Monitor's annual rankings show this. While the top football and basketball services in any given year have great records, the top services in baseball do only fairly. I used Blazer three years in the mid-to-late 90s in baseball and he was awesome (half faves, half dogs and winning 70 percent). But he was awful the following year, I lost my shirt and I never went back to him. My experience in baseball is why I am always wary of these shills who come on and claim these monster baseball records. I just don't believe it can be done. As for Sebastian, how strong is he? I'm willing to take a look although I seem to see only comp plays from him on this site (most of the time).
I do try to post Special K but he isn't that good in baseball (although on a fine run right now) as opposed to football and basketball where he shines. Any other direction on a service that can post decent baseball numbers while not laying huge favorites (my own baseball picks are almost all dogs), would be appreciated.
Griswold-Sebastian has his clients is up over $60000 for the year in baseball, and his 100*'s are 37-14, and he DOESN'T lie.
He is up over $60000 for the season with max. bet $2000. In other words 5*'s =$500, and 10 *'s=1000, 20*'s=$2000, but 100 hundred star, even though rated that way, still equals $2000.
If I were a a big player, I would use him and put his record(at least for this year) up against that of anyone.
His website address is www.sebastiansports.com.
people who buy service picks are missing out on sebastian. although, his picks are expensive but he made his clients plus units in all sports the past 3 years. anyone know a different site to get his play:?

savage-
are you part of the mel stewart/sebastian cartel?
griswold-
have you ever followed blazer in football? I have followed him for a number of years with mixed success, but usually great in NFL playoffs and big college games. that's interesting about your experience with his baseball service. I heard he handicapped bases but never seen his plays.
Great investment today perhaps, but while Big Al was giving out dumb and completely unwarranted GOY's on Arizona a couple of weeks ago, some of us were betting AGAINST that pathetic team and did rather well.
I still maintain that over the years I have followed him, Big Al is VERY mediocre at best;there are PLENTY of cappers better than him;that is the best on the board, and several of them post on these threads for nothing, which is the best part.
Fcriday-I am not part of any cartel.
I listened to Sebastianregularly during the time he had a radio show around here, check his website and call his comp. line every day, and he is honest about his record, believe me.
His comp. picks alone are excellent.
I defy anyone to come up here and tell/prove that his baseball record this year is not as I posted.
ps I have criticized many services before for deception, but I must say that you are the very first person who has accused me of being q shill;perhaps I should feel honored.:D
