Knights are shooting 28.9% on arc and not subbing much (bench minutes in bottom 15 in US). William & Mary is 1-3, losing road games by 8 at Hampton, 17 at Wichita State. AAC home favorites are 12-6 vs spread; CAA road underdogs: 8-7.
First road game for Butler squad that beat Vandy in OT last game after they nipped Princeton by 3; Bulldogs won eight of last nine games with Ball State, losing by 3 in last visit here, two years ago. Cardinals lost by 9 at Indiana State in its opener, when both teams had 1.14+ pp, so poor defense was played. MAC underdogs are 9-8 vs spread, 1-3 at home.
Princeton's last two games were decided by total of four points; Tigers beat Lafayette by point last game, after losing by 3 at Butler week ago- they've made 41.6% from arc in first three games. only 44.9% inside it. Pacific shot 83.9% from line (#3 in US) in 3-0 start, beating Nevada by 2, Irvine by 5; Tigers are making 42.9% from arc- they've got new coach but five guys who play most are all seniors. Pacific is 2-4 in its last six games vs Fresno State, losing last two years by 8-5 points. Bulldogs are 3-0 vs Big West teams, winning by 1-16-17; they lost at Pitt by 21.
North Carolina lost game to Belmont after struggling with Holy Cross in previous game; they won't have star Hairston (suspended), aren't very good right now. Richmond beat Belmont by 8, lost at Minnesota by 15; they're 3-1 despite shooting 19% behind arc, 64% from line. A-13 dogs are 7-3 vs spread away from home. ACC teams are 8-2 at neutral sites.
Oakland is 0-4 but did have two players arrested (charges dropped) for rape in LA, so there's that; all four losses were to top 30 teams, so this is major step down in class, facing ULL squad that lost by 13/19 points to Arkansas/Baylor on road. Cajuns are making just 27% from arc. Sun Belt favorites are 4-1 vs spread. Horizon League underdogs are 11-14.

George Mason beat No Iowa by 6, a good win and also beat three other stiffs- they've turned ball over 24.9% of time, problem vs scrappy Iona. MAAC favorites are 2-4 vs spread.
Kent State made 18-34 from arc in wild 79-78 win over SC-Upstate on Friday, team that beat Va Tech. Upstate was 11-20 from the arc. Kent is 5-1; both teams here are playing third day in row in pre-arranged event. Niagara allowed 90.5 ppg in losing last two days- star Mason played 76:00 out of 80 last two days, scored 66 points, but is he tired here?
Georgia Southern lost by 33 at West Virginia Thursday after losing by a point in OT to Miami, in its only D-I games. Old Dominion is playing better defense under for Virginia coach Jones, who had been at American; Monarchs won last three games, giving up an average of 56 ppg while winning by 20-10-18 over stiffs. SoCon road underdogs are 4-16.
Charleston is 1-3 under new coach Wojcik and they were down 16 at the half in the win; Cougars beat old SoCon rival Furman in 11 of their last 12 meetings, beating Paladins by 4-24 points LY. This is Furman's first away game for Furman team that is in bottom 10 in country in terms of experience. Hard to lay 10 points with Charleston, giving how awful their offensive numbers are so far.
Auburn beat couple stiffs at home, also lost by 19 to Northwestern St., one of better teams in Southland but a bad loss; Tigers are making 28% from arc- they lost by 20 to Murray State on neutral floor LY, as Racers made 11-23 from arc. Murray lost lot from LY, are 0-2 vs D-I teams, losing by 3-10 points. OVC road underdogs are 10-16 against spread.
Cal-Riverside is offensively challenged, making 19% from arc, 59.5% on foul line. turning ball over 22% of time, but they beat Montana State in last game, improving to 25-34 from line. Southern Utah lost by 33-28 in its two D-I games, at Utah State/Cal, so big step down in competiton in this game. Big West road teams are 6-13 against the spread this month.
