3 Units and 5 Units
Bet the team with the worst season record for 3 Units if a dog.

I just finished the math for the Running Dog system for all the bowl games this morning. IF I did the math correctly, I came up with the following...

Central Florida
Wisconsin
Temple
Idaho
Air Force
Iowa State
Connecticut
Oklahoma State
Michigan State

I did all this work in an Excel Spreadsheet so the only thing I could have screwed up was the formula, but I think I understood it from last year's thread. A couple other games were real close. For example, BYU is 0.54 and Oregon State is 0.56, only a difference of 0.02, but BYU is smaller and getting the points, so by the letter is was a no play.

I'm pretty much going to follow the same formula as I did last year. ( 2007 ) We had an outstanding bowl season with the running dogs. The better running teams OVERALL in general were 22-10 SU and 23-9 ATS last year. But keep in mind that they aren't going to hit this well every year. In the 2006 bowl season the better running teams were 20-12 SU but only 18-14 ATS. So we have to be careful as we go, and to just remember that none of these Running Dogs are set in granite. The underdogs who had the better run numbers were 10-4 ATS last year. And 7-3 (71%) the season before. So that's why you really need to think hard before you go against a running dog.

2007: 10-4 ATS
2008: 9-5 ATS

.

According to the BettorsChat archives, the Running Dogs were 7-3 in 2006 so you can add that to our history.

one of the easiest bowl systems around, is to go against the

I have the following final numbers

Middle Tenn. St 0.86 (dog)
Southern Miss 1.03

Iowa 0.39 (dog)
Georgia Tech 0.61

Northern Ill. 0.65 (dog)
South Florida 0.69

Okie State 1.64 (dog)
Mississippi 1.48

Wish I could cut and paste part of the spreadsheet here to show the math to see why we differ. I'll post more details of one game we differ to what is going on.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Are these also NOT in confliction with the Running Dog System? And are they also factored in with agreement to the running dog system?
