You act like i'm the only one upset at him. Turn on the tv and radio. Whether or not YOU think it was a big deal or not, IT WAS!
You are not the only one upset with him, the media pretends to be, and in turn has made you actually upset with him. The media spews this BS so people will watch. Do you really think Stuart Scott, Mike Wilbon and Charles Barkley care about this? They don't, but ESPN and TNT care about their ratings.
These idiots will talk about Lebron as long as they can find something to talk about, positive or negative, you think they care? They don't.
"IT WAS a big a deal"?? Why because the media tells you it is? A basketball player lost, and in turn showed frustration and for once in his god forsaken, media microscoped life, made A MISTAKE. Sue him. Seriously come on Wayne. You never fuckekd up? There's no difference between him fucking up at his job and you or me screwing up at ours.

They had many athletes on radio and tv today and every single one i heard said Lebron was 100% wrong for how he handled himself. That isn't just media but it sure made the media "Take Note".

Its a big deal because the media was waiting to find a blemish on LeBron and now they want to exploit it....
LeBron is not the first player to do it and won't be the last....its just a big deal because he has no warts right now....at least that we are aware of.....

These guys are lining up around the block to take their "shot" at Lebron, becuase they've had to wait half a decade to get it, and they'll have to wait half a decade to get another one.
Have you ever gone five years without once messing up on a personal level at work? Because until now, that's exactly what he has done. Everyone loved this guy for years, but they'll turn their backs on him as soon as they can to get some "air time."
Note puns on the words "shot" and "air time."
I thought those were great.
Big Difference mavs, i don't get paid 20 million dollars a year to carry myself a certain way, he does.
Since when is the money in lue of acceptable personal conduct? He gets paid $20 M to shoot and dribble. Ron Artest gets to act like an asshole year in and year out, he's not taking any paycuts because of it.
$$ has nothing do with any of this. And if $$ for good personal conduct was the norm, then Lebron should be getting paid billions for his actions and contributions to the NBA and Cavs over the last five years.

He represents the Team, League and many, many sponsors mavs. Part of every one of those contracts, it is well stated how they want you to carry yourself. I guarantee the Cavs owner, Stern and all his sponsors do NOT want Lebron doing what he did. You can bet none of them were happy.
And you can bet, that not one of them will be making Lebron take a paycut, so what's your point?
Money means nothing here, imagine one of these guys cutting him as a sponsor because he "got mad." I promise it won't happen, because plain and simple, no one really cares, they just do a very good job pretending they do.
Was it a good move? No. Just cut him a break, he doesn't fuck up very often, and is a great guy.
I don't see what more can be said about all of this.
I actually haven't shared my opinion on this and not that it really matters but I think it is a bigger deal that he didn;t do the press conference than shaking hands. Should he have...yes but I am not going to get ramped up about it. I don't think its a big deal...like I said previously, he won;t be the last one to do what he did.
But he should have shown up for the press conference. As the team leader, he needed to represent. He alwasy has something to say when it is convenient for him and the cameras are on and he should have stood up for his team instead of hanging them out to dry and having to answer all the questions...then again, his team hung him out to dry the entire series.
