How much tradition do the Rays have?

What does tradition have to do with the ballpark conditions???

You're saying people go to Fenway even though it's not comfortable and saying the same should happen in Tampa with a shit stadium. My pt was you can't compare the 2 because the Rays are light years away in any aspect of baseball you wanna talk about especially tradition so of course RS fans will show up despite the uncomfortable stadium.

That all sounds good Jimmy but once again, you couldn't be more wrong. When the Sox were miserable for YEARS, the ballpark was 1/2 full like every other and nobody showed up. Try again ...........

I think Pittsburgh and KC would definitely support a winning baseball team.....Oakland and Florida have already proven they wouldn't. Tampa is supposed to be getting a new stadium but even though they should be drawing alot more then they currently are......weather in Tampa is also much more pleasant than Miami....makes no sense.

Tigers wouldnt draw very well for years when they stunk but as soon as they got halfway decent its a a near sellout every game the last few years and the team is barely over 500 the last two years.

Some places will support their teams and some won't.......Raider games are always sold out and they stink...dont know why they dont support the A's who have been decent for quite some time now.

                PEACE

Great post Ronny and i agree with it. The one thing that i don't think it is comparable to though is football. When you only have 8 games a year, it is probably much easier to sell them out. Now i do know that many teams do not sell out and N.E. fans never showed up when they were (2-14) every year either but they also have a blackout rule that baseball doesn't. When you get 81 home games, you get a real good gauge on if and when they will start following. Raider fans are fucken nuts though. That is for sure!
