The Rays ought to move out of Tampa.
Their fans are pathetic.
The first two games of the matchup between the besttwo teams in the American League draw crowds of only 15,000.
By comparison, Milwaukee, a smaller market, has sold out all three games of its homestand this week with Houston.
Don't give me a hurricane excuse. MLB counts tickets sold so nobody even bothered to buy this series in advance.
Despite its awesome season, Tampa has drawn terribly all year. I realize they aren't used to a winning team but you'd think after ten rotten years, they'd be embracing the best oung team in baseball.
Will they even be able to sell out their playoff games?
It's sickening to see huge fan support in cities constantly saddled with losers (Baltimore, Milwaukee, Seattle) when fans in Tampa won't even come out to support the most exciting team in baseball.
