        He had a great season in his freshman year. That being said he can't be on any top-5 list for the past 18 seasons. There's been too many players with far better college stats in the past 18 years. I bet he doesn't make the top-10 career rushing stats for the past 18 years.

        If Peterson had a good year and ran for 1000 yards in the NFL he wouldn't be on anyone's list.

        Ray Rice of Rutgers had much better career stats than Peterson. How come he's not on anyone's top-5 list?

            My guess is that he wasn't as "flashy" and lacked a lot of highlight film runs imo
