Is Tiger the Greatest Athelete Ever?

For anyone that plays golf, you know how hard it is to win one event, let alone 7 of 8. Would anyone be surprised if he won the Grand Slam this year? By the time he's done, he will go down as the greatest athelete ever without a doubt. IMO, golf is the hardest sport to conquer which makes Tiger even more unreal.

I play easy courses from the white tees, and I struggle...lol...he plays extremely difficult courses from the tips and smashes them all.

I meant greatest sports person ever...I know people have an issue with calling golf a sport and golfers atheletes, but if you consider golf a sport and golfers athletes, he is the best ever

Lets see Tiger hit a 90 mph slider or stop a 100mph slapshot with two goons in his face. Golf is tough but you cant consider golfers major atheletes IMO.

im sure derek jeter couldnt go out and win 6 pga tournaments in a row....i think tiger is the one of the greatest athletes ever...golf is the hardest professional sport to play imo...you have no teammates and you have to play your best 4 days in a row...and it has to be the toughest mental sport there is...tiger has played 72 holes in the last 2 days and he is playing awesome....to do what he does every shot on every hole is amazing to me...his mental toughness is amazing...jmo...and the purple shirt he has been wearing on saturdays is pretty sick

I'm no fan of tennis really but what Roger Federer has done is equally amazing (IMO). He too plays a solo game but it not only involves skill, it also involves a ton of athletic and physical ability too.

Most focused athlete ever and i would give it to Tiger without a doubt. He is in a sport where focus rules over athletic ability imo. Just look at Mickelson's frame.

Greatest "Athlete" ... I don't know about that. I'm guessing Michael Jordan can play a much better golf game than Tiger could on the court. If you count athletic ability, i think i would choose Jordan. Great golfer, the best ever (imo) in the NBA and he wasn't great but he showed he could play some baseball too!

nobody...but nobody will convince me that failing 7 out of 10 times at the plate is harder than doing what tiger does
