    Let's hear it!!!
Right here and going to bed...I don't spend the entire night in front of the computer every night, sorry I could not be here to prove you wrong until such a late hour

I'll check in tomorrow to see how you flip flop the argument once again to try to wipe the egg off of your face in a vain and transparent attempt to make your argument that a soap star and an MLB player can beat over a third of the tour players today....BWAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA ...

    Good night!!!

          Wayne,

Did you know this was a publicity stunt to draw local Redskins fans? I do, I went to the tournament.

He was given a sponsors exemption, which means he did not have to qualify for the event. He played and shot two ugly rounds of like 80-86 to miss he cut by over 20 strokes.

          Just a FYI.

          Brodie was legit.

Using your logic you could say that Hale Irwin was a Football player first. He was an All-American at Colorado U as a safety or cornerback. Its really not a fair comparison since most kids start out with the other sports first. Tiger is a rare one who loved golf since he could walk. You will never see another golfer like him ever.

Charles Barkley was a great basketball player - could be he worst golfer of any of the top athletes. Golf is more a test of nerves and coordination than brute strength.
          NBA is a joke

Brodie is an excellent golfer and has done great on the Senior tour...but I cannot find anywhere that he has played in a PGA Tour event....

Wayne doesn't understand the facts abut Rypien. Useless discussing it with him.

You are like Roger Clemens at Congress...when you are wrong, you answer every question that isn't asked and when cornered, you go off on 10 tangents to try to dilute the subject matter. Or, you try to belittle the person asking you to prove your facts.

You made a comment that an MLB player and a soap opera star can beat 33% of today's touring pros. That is what I have asked you to prove. For the fourth time, who are you referring to?
Forget all the other jibberrish and hog wash and smoke screens and BS that you like to throw out to get off the subject...who are you referring to? name them or admit you had your facts wrong.

And gladly post any of my posts where I was factually wrong and I will gladly admit it. Your opinion, and mine, on the subject of Woods vs. Federer will never be answered so we have our opinions, which will never be proven right or wrong, and move on...part of the basis for your opinion is factually incorrect, unless you can answer my original question, which you continue to ignore (SHOCKER!!!).

C'mon Roger, stick to the question at hand!!!

I am sure you will ignore this and not answer it...that will be the next response.

I originally thought this too Benny as I was too young to see Gretzky in his prime but Grampa is right when he said that how come everyone else couldnt score as frequently as he did. All the other players had to face the same goalies too and didnt score half as much as he did....from what my Dad has told me is that Gretzky was/is the best hockey player he had ever seen...my pops said that he couldnt even describe how dominant he was....he was electrifying everytime he touched the ice. Apparently he would score in almost EVERY game and would average at least 3 points per game. he was involved in almost every box score on every night. Something majestic to say the least....

Anyone can go out and try to qualify for the US Open..that is why it is a freakin' OPEN!!!!! So what if Romo tried to make it.

I was in Palm Springs a month ago and he was there with all his buddies (and his babe, by the way) the week before the SB...he shot 87 at Mission Hills...80 freakin 7 on a public course and because an article says he tried out for the Open that is supposed to mean something...PUHLEEZE!!!
Nothing harder than the game of golf I agree.I have tried to make it on the Hooters tour and let me tell you, going out with your buddies or playing in a Club championship and shooting 72-71 gets you alot of respect. But trust me 72 or 71 on a Monday qualifier for the Nationwide or Hooters tour gets you nothing.I don't know if it's as much of athletic ability as it is mental. And lets face it all good golfers know that 75% of golf is from 100 yards and in.You dont have to be very strong to hit it a hundred yards.Tiger will go down as the best golfer ever.He amazes me every week. But you don't have to be a great athlete to be a good golfer just look at Daly,Calcavechia and others.Best athlete IMO should be someone who played multiple sports like Deion or Bo or even Michael Jordan although a short time at baseball gave it a shot. This argument could go on forever like me and my uncles argument of Best linebacker ever and he says Butkis and I say Ray Lewis. It's all about the era and the love for a sport.Chado loves hockey and Gretzky was his answer, golfers like Tiger Woods and basketball players love MJ.Agree to disagree and say I would like to be like any of them. There all awsome.
