Most focused athlete ever and i would give it to Tiger without a doubt. He is in a sport where focus rules over athletic ability imo. Just look at Mickelson's frame.

Greatest "Athlete" ... I don't know about that. I'm guessing Michael Jordan can play a much better golf game than Tiger could on the court. If you count athletic ability, i think i would choose Jordan. Great golfer, the best ever (imo) in the NBA and he wasn't great but he showed he could play some baseball too!

Tennis players are much better athletes than golfers. You don't see any Mickelson's or Daly's on the court. It simply wouldn't happen. Skill and focus is very similiar to golf too.

For anyone that plays golf, you know how hard it is to win one event, let alone 7 of 8. Would anyone be surprised if he won the Grand Slam this year? By the time he's done, he will go down as the greatest athelete ever without a doubt. IMO, golf is the hardest sport to conquer which makes Tiger even more unreal.

I play easy courses from the white tees, and I struggle...lol...he plays extremely difficult courses from the tips and smashes them all.

I coudln't think of the right word...I meant greatest sports person ever...I've played almost every sport you can think of, and after 13 yrs of playing golf and still not being that great, I'm convinced golf is the hardest of them all

If Jordan played golf for a living, he would have made the tour and probably a good living. Tiger wouldn't ever have a prayer of starting for a NBA team.

Best Golfer we will ever see no doubt. He is just phenominal. I've played alot of golf too and i just never get better. It is the most discouraging game ever. With that said, many pro athletes from other sports have turned to golf after their career was over and done pretty well. Alot of guys have won events or become great scratch golfers. I don't see any golfers trying their hand at something else and doing it though. Greatest golfer or dominator of his own sport yes, greatest athlete ever, no way (IMO)!
