The Mets definately needed him the most!

This is making for a interesting decision for me in MLB Team Ball. Who goes in the 1st & 2nd inning? hmmmmmmm

I wonder what this means for Joe Nathan? Could he be the next to be dealt?

Carlos Gomez (22) extremly fast and cannon for arm/only hit 225 in 125 at bats last year-- starting day cf

Phillip Humber RH (25) 1st round selection in 2004(3rd overall) from rice university had tommy john surgery 2.5 years ago mid 90's fastball with nasty curvball

kevin Mulvey RH(22) has a 94 sinking fastball, nasty slider and effective change-up pitched mostly at AA last year with a 3.32 era one call up start to AAA where he gave up 2 hits in 6innings

Deolis Guerra RH (19) Venezuelan who is 18 years old has pitched less than 180 innings of pro ball maybe has the most upside throws around 93 mph and with the 6'5 frame should be able to increase that 97-98

              The Mets rotation will be

              1. Santana
              2. Pedro
              3. El Duque
              4. Maine
              5. Pelfrey

This team is loaded provided everyone stays healthy, with this offense, I see a 100 win year very likely.

After Santana, nothing is guaranteed in that rotation.

Twins just got fucked up the ass!! None of these prospects will help us next year. We will finish last in the AL Central as the Royals just passed us up. Way to fuck it up Smith!!

They should have received Lester,Ellsbury or Hughes in a deal. Any of the 3 would have made an impact this year!

The only way a trade was going to make Twins competive was if they got a guy that pitched on two days rest and bats clean-up!!! Be realisitic

I think Gomez and Humber have good chance to be on opening day roster/ I am a Twins fan an the outlook is to be competive when the new Stadium opens. With this trade you get 3 potential starting pitchers (me personally 2) and a cf with speed and good arm--that is all we had at cf until this last year when T. Hunter started hitting with more power.
