Would've been a huge trade for the Yanks or Sox, I'm really surprised one of them didn't make it happen.

They were not nearly as desperate to get him as the Mets i guess.

The Yankees are fools. They just don't get it. They think because they signed Carl Pavano and Javier Vazquez and they were garbage, that it doesn't work to pick up big name pitchers and sign them to big contracts. Ian Kennedy will never be as good as Carl Pavano.

What the fuck is wrong with baseball these days is a scrub like that guy from Minnesota (name?) gets 11 million a year for 4 years from the Mariners and Nate Robertson who is twice as good gets 3 years for 7 mill a pop......Dombrowski in a matter of 3 years took us from the worst team in the majors to one of the best with staying power

                $$$$$$$$$

                PEACE

Didn't Nate have a Dead arm for a few weeks last season and he had to be shut down? I thought he was kinda young for that to happen.

He became ineffective for a few weeks so they make something up to throw you on the DL.....I am more worried about Bondo's elbow than Robertson's arm.....maybe yer thinking of him as he missed his last few starts in late September after he became ineffective.....they said he could pitch if they were in the playoffs but didnt want to risk it.....I could pitch for that lineup and win 15 games

                    PEACE

No, it was more like mid season. I only know because i had him on my fantasy team and after a couple of bad outings, they listed him out for 2-3 weeks with a tired/dead arm. I waived him because it scared me but he did come back and he seemed to do o.k.

I'm not a kid, so please don't call me one. I know you don't like me because I told you to be careful with that Memphis play last week. you got lucky, and coverd in the last 30 seconds by a half point. I don't dislike you, but you really think your a know it all-funny because your about 500 in my book at best.

I'm not a fan of yours because of many posts, not just one and if you are going to quote me and guess my feelings on something, i suggest you don't bother. Luck plays a part in most gambling and if you don't know that, you're a kid.

Think about this... If that offer was made, Hank would have jumped all over that! Without hughes and just Melky, Kennedy and a prospect, who wouldn't take that. Again, those are rumors and until its proven, i wont believe it. But, be aware, everyone is underestimating Kennedy... He actually put up better numbers than hughes in the minors. In 3 games he posted a 1.80 Era and pitched a one hitter in his 2nd start.
