Hey, i hate this thread too. All i'm saying is if Oklahoma finished 2nd to Texas for 86 years and finally won a Title while also having the best comeback in CFB history against Texas to get it, i'm sure you would understand why the fans have acted as they have after that win. I realize everyone is different and i wouldn't/don't understand the magnitude of your rivalry up here, but i can guarantee people living way down south, or in the west, midwest or southwest really have no clue what the people went through emotionally in '04 after winning that. I know, it's just a game but people up here are crazy and you've seen it. I think Cubs fans at Wrigley Field have about as much in common with Boston fans than anybody. I guarantee if/when the Cubs finally win one, there will be people passing out and balling in the streets. There is passion and than there is something way beyond that. We are the way beyond that up here. If you ever saw how much people's days are ruined in mid June with a single loss up here, you would not believe it.

That guy, and i forget his name, had to move out of the state after that game. He is still one of the most hated and talked about person ever on Sportscenter and i'm sure in Chicago. I know you don't live in it everyday in Chicago either but i have to think there couldn't be 2 more similiar fans than the Cubs & Red Sox. Passion like no other, no wins in forever and the 2 best ballparks in baseball to enjoy a game in.
