Friday -- October 5th

After yesterdays doggie sweep, I'm starting today 4-2 and ahead 18 units, based on 5 units each play. Now we have a little cushion and while I hope this dosen't happen, the dogs can lose the next three games and we will still be even. Not sure if the Cleveland line will go below +110 but right now it's at +116, where I just played it. So, for Friday.................

Not happy about going against Boston and against the red hot Rockies tomorrow, but these are the type of games that don't do what everyone thinks will happen and the line makes for a nice doggie payout.

I've meshed your "non-thinking dogs only" theory with a little bit of knowledge to heed a 4-0 postseason for me so far...the thinking was simplistic, however...2 home dogs with the Indians (GM1) and the DBacks (GM2), and the hottest team in baseball (Rockies) were road pups twice. I couldn't bet against Webb or Beckett in their GM 1's, and here we are. I haven't posted here in quite a while, but I just wanted to let you know that you are winning people money, and your work and consistency is a huge dividend for this site. Split 'em out today and we've made some cash, sweep 'em and we've made a lot more cash, lose 'em both and we're still in the black! Good luck today, Sandy, and continued success!!!

Thanks for the comments Mark. You understand perfectly the value in what I'm trying to do. We split, we win. You are doing even better so far, but if I tried to pick my spots I could end up missing some games that did win and the whole value theory goes down the drain. You were right on with Beckett, but you could have lost with Webb if Pinella knew how to manage.

Cleveland makes it 4 dog wins in a row and 1-0 for today. Can the Angels make it 5 in a row. Gotta go count my money.

tash. What's a prairie. Nothing here but hills and one mountain. I remember my girls used to watch that show, but I didn't. The only thing I have in common with Michael Landon is that he died from the same cancer my wife had. Not something you want to have in common with anyone.

Friday Recap

The Angels stayed even until the 9th when Manny got a batting practice pitch right down the middle of the plate and that ball got crushed. But, what you saw was a game that could have gone either way. There will be more games like this one and the good sized dogs will win their share.

It was a 1-1 spilt day winning a very small 0.8 units. but it felt like a losing day when the Angels lost after having four winning plays in a row.
