Nice to see so many understanding and agreeing with what I'm doing. I see some of you are playing the dog in three of the first four games anyway, for your own reasons. Overnight, two lines went up, while one went down. From now on, I'm going to wait to make my own plays and will post what I'm doing the day of the game [you all know anyway] before the first game, instead of the night before. Most line tend to move in the favorites direction.

kapt. Good luck taking the run and a half. If the games are close, you did the smart thing, although now you are paying the juice and will have to win more than half the games.

vondie. Hope we get off to a fast start.

bwade210. It will make a difference how the first group of games do. As long as we get some early dog winners, you won't need a bankroll to do this.

If, for some reason, this dosen't work, at least we can use money from my mock GOY, which hit with the Rockies last weekend.

Did you see the line move with Colorado. Two hours ago they were +146, now at game time the line has moved all the way down to just +132. Maybe they aren't as tired as everyone says they are.

          Greek and orientalhawn. Welcome aboard.

I did too, with Colorado traveling across after a big emotional win. That's the beauty of making the same play every game. You don't think. However, looks like I'll be 1-1 after Boston wins, but still up a couple of units, going into the Cubs play.

I'm Going to Keep Everything In This Thread thru the World Series

Since I'm using this thread mainly to record how the dog plays do, I think it will be easier to keep track by just posting in this thread, rather than start a different thread each day. If it gets too long, just go right to the end and then go back from there.

Colorado +134 WINNER PLUS 6.70 units
LA Angels + 150 LOSER Minus 5.0 units
Chicago Cubs +122 LOSER Minus 5.0 units

Not a good first day, going 1-2 but only down 3.3 units. If anyone waited until today to play the Rockies, you losses were less than 3 units.

I'll post everything tomorrow morning, with the lines at that time. Right now it's possible there will only be one dog play Thursday. It will be the first game with the red hot Rockies, now at 15-1 their last 16 and still a big dog

Greek. Games that are near pick em, don't have a real dog nor the value of playing the dog. For this reason, any dogs of less than +110 are not real dog plays. Since I've been doing this, I've never played a dog that wasen't at least +110. Right now Cleveland is +107, which isn't a true dog and would not be a play. There isn't a line on the Cubs/DBacks yet, but it could also be a pick em type game. Of course by tomorrow, lines could change enough to have a real dog.

Over the last 4 season taking dogs between and including 125 to 145 shows a strong profit each year.

                                2004 6-3 +505
                                2005 4-5 +65
                                2006 5-3 +375
                                2007 1-0 +140

Over that same time all other dogs are a combined 19-36 -865 and so far 0-2 this season.
