I just think the Phils & Mets will take at least 2 of 3 from their opponent and i'm not sold on SD doing that. I think a WC playoff is very possible though.

As far as bats goes, there really hasn't been much great free agents.
Mets gave all this money to Beltran and look at what he has done.
Seattle's Beltre hasn't done much either.
They really good at watching their money. They don't have the kind of money that Boston and NY has.

I agree with that 100%
Kevin Towers is a very underrated GM.....he can make some really good deals.
That is troubling about the farm system though.....especially if they are not trading those prospects for high priced superstars.
What's up with the scouting there?

I am not sure why he can't scout them. He is awesome at scouting pitchers, but batters, we have not have one came up from the farm system in a very long time.
Benito Santiago was the last one I can think off. And he was a little above average.
