What is so interesting to me is how the 3 teams in the West and Milwaukee all play each other. The door is WIDE OPEN for the Mets, Phillies & Cubs (IMO)!!!!!

Interesting ... I think it will be very hard to keep Arizona out of there though with the Best record in the NL and Brandon Webb pitching in one of those 3 games. We'll see!

If Arizona loses 2 of 3 and San Diego takes care of the free falling Brewers...Arizona could be SOL.

If Arizona wins 1 game this weekend, that means they have 2 more wins than SD and 3 more than everyone else (Not counting their wins). If Arizona Wins 1 of 3 ... They should get the WC at worst!

Colorado, the Cubs and Milwaukee would have no chance to catch 'Zona and the best the Mets and Phils could do is tie with a sweep.

and there acutally a very real possibility of a two way tie between the Mets and Phillies and the Padres and Rockies/or Dbacks.

There can't be a three way tie in the West based on the records...but there can be a two way tie between the Padres and either the rockies and dbacks......and THEN...we could even have wild card playoff as well after the two one game playoffs are done for the division.

It could be an incredible 3-5 days of baseball.

I think Milwaukee is out and 'Zona is in along with the Cubs.

That leaves 2 spots between Philly, NYM, Colorado & SD

I'm not sure which 2 i like at this point!

Very true on the Zona projections.....

If they win one of the three...Colorado can't catch them in the division.

That would leave Colorado 89-73.....if mets and phils win 2 of three...all three would be tied at 89-73.

San Diego still has a one game lead on all three of them...so they would have to lose 2 of 3 here to force a 4 way tie and make this nuttier then it already is.
