I think this was a good trade for Boston. They were going nowhere. It was time for a complete house cleaning.

However, my point about them being ball hogs is that, they are all scorers that need the ball in their hands. We'll see how successful they all are without it as much. It didn't work with Shaq and Kobe. Maybe it will with these three. We'll just have to wait and see. One ball, three scorers. Who knows. Someone out of those three will have to be a role player. Lots of ego in that group.

I think all 3 are mature enough at this point in their careers that they can handle sharing the ball. If Rondo can mature this year and they can add a veteran PG to back him up, then this will be the best team in the East next year.

Shaq and Kobe both have a TOTALLY different makeup than any of these 3. Simply put, that is a horrible comparison.

These are 3 of the nicest guys in the league based on everything i have heard. Kaz acts like if they don't win a title, they will impload. Does he not realize these guys will be happy as a pig in shit just playing in the playoffs? They have lost for most of their NBA careers because of no support and they have all been professionals about it since day 1. That won't change with a 2nd round or 1st round loss in the playoffs. These guys will be excited to come back and try it again!

I'm watching the Red Sox. KG threw out the 1st pitch to a standing ovation and in the pregame press conference, Terry Francona was smiling from ear to ear and giddy about the KG deal. They said he brought his family to about 7 Celtic games last year and is good friends with Doc.

On Sox radio about 15 minutes ago, they said their talk with Gagne before the game was alot of fun. Gagne said growing up an Expos fan that Francona was his favorite player. He also said his phone has been ringing off the hook for the last 24 hours since the trade to Boston. Gagne said and i quote ... "I didn't receive this many calls when i won the Cy Young". They said he is very excited to be here!
