This is a pretty active trade deadline, I got think more players will be moved too. I mean the Mets and Yankees gotta make another move, and the Dodgers, Brewers, Indians, Angels should be making moves as well. Only the Tigers in my opinion really don't need to do anything with Zumanya coming back. There should be some fire sales too. Come on Sabaen, you bastard!!!
The Mets have reportedly offered Philip Humber to the Nationals for Chad Cordero, and the Diamondbacks are also in the hunt, according to SI.com's Jon Heyman.
As lofty as his demands have been in the past, it's hard to see Jim Bowden taking the Mets' fifth or sixth best prospect for Cordero. A deal would probably have to include Carlos Gomez or Mike Pelfrey. If the Diamondbacks are offering Carlos Quentin, that's a deal the Nationals should strongly consider. Too bad they just gave Dmitri Young $10 million to stumble around left field the next couple of years.

Humber for Cordero? Hmph...I am glad I am not the GM as I would get indegestion over some of these offers.
Maybe Omar sees Cordero as the heir apparent to Wagner in a year (I think his contract is done after next year). Is Cordero in the last year of his contract?
The Braves reportedly will considering moving Bob Wickman, pending the completion of the Octavio Dotel deal.
Maybe Dotel could continue to close after all. Still, it's a long shot. Wickman isn't really any good these days and probably wouldn't succeed in any role outside of closing. If the Braves keep him -- and they probably will -- he'll probably remain the primary ninth-inning guy.
The Red Sox and Rangers have agreed to an Eric Gagne deal, pending Gagne waiving his no-trade clause, sources told FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal.
And, this opens up the possibility of PapelBOMB coming back to the rotation next year- Beckett, Dice-K, Papelbon & Lester...could be VERY good for a VERY long time....
Atlanta has made some huge moves and if they can get Bronson Arroyo for Wickman and maybe another prospect that would be the only deal I want to see go down. If Atlanta can get someone like that, Garland or Arroyo, I would bet my left nut they win the East.
