See I dont' agree with that though....we need a Right Handed bat and a lefty reliever more then a closer IMO.

Dempster is alright...I'm ok with him.

Not sure you need a right handed bat, Soriano, Rameriz and Lee, I think you need a left handed bat. Howry is a good set up guy, I think come playoffs Demster will be garbage, just my opinion.

ESPN's Jayson Stark says the Mets have gotten aggressive in their pursuit of the Nationals' Chad Cordero.
The Nationals are certain to want Lastings Milledge, but perhaps they'd settle for Carlos Gomez and a pitching prospect. If a Cordero deal happens, Jon Rauch would take over as Washington's closer.

The Braves are reportedly offering Jo-Jo Reyes in a deal for Bronson Arroyo.
A deal still seems like a long shot, but the Braves have been extremely aggressive. Reyes would likely go right into Cincinnati's rotation if dealt. However, he's a whole lot more interesting in NL-only leagues as a Brave.

Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune is reporting that the Raiders are expected to sign QB Daunte Culpepper.
If true, Culpepper would join Josh McCown and Andrew Walter, who have been splitting reps with the first team while JaMarcus Russell holds out. Culpepper would have to prove he's healthy to have a legitimate shot at playing time, and his most likely role remains as a back-up.

Left handed bats is all we got on the bench with either Floyd, K. Hill, D. Ward.....until we called up Cedeno and Murton, we didn't have any right handed hitters on the bench.

You might get Mark Sweeney from the Giants I heard, I guess if you want bench players, you'll be happy. Dye isn't a bench player though and he'd give you another righted handed power hitter to go along with the three you already have.

If it isn't Milledge, this could be a very good deal if Omar can pull it off....

The Mariners are believed to the frontrunners in the sweepstakes to land Devil Rays closer Al Reyes, according to the Tampa Tribune. Reyes has 17 saves and a 1.08 WHIP this season. Landing Dan Wheeler has made Reyes a bit more expendable, but the Rays aren’t in a hurry to deal him because they have him under contract for next season if they wish.

You might get Mark Sweeney from the Giants I heard, I guess if you want bench players, you'll be happy. Dye isn't a bench player though and he'd give you another righted handed power hitter to go along with the three you already have.

With the injuries that have already happened to Floyd, and are more then likely to happen again...I'd MUCH rather take the chance of him and Dye platooning, then having Pagan and Murton platoon with Floyd. Pagan is a GREAT defensive replacement in the later innings. Murton, I'm really not sure what the hell he is doing up there...maybe trade bait.

ESPN's Jayson Stark says the Eric Gagne chase is down to the Red Sox and Brewers.
He'd have to waive his no-trade clause to go to Boston, whereas the Brewers don't have to worry about that. Speculation is that the Red Sox are offering Kason Gabbard and David Murphy. The Brewers could part with Tony Gwynn Jr. and a pitcher. Both of those outfielders project as long-term reserves, but they could get a chance to start in center if acquired by Texas.
