Dotel has been nothing special lately and Arroyo is like what? 2-10?

I wouldn't get too excited Atlanta fan. Mark was a great pickup but beyond that who knows.

While not moves that would win a pennant they certainlly would help shore up some problem areas and are worth the gamble.

Very could well be, but unless you didn't look closely, the guy sleeping was Brian Cashman!

I hope they don't get rid of DelCarmen. Although I do like Dye...

Why was Theo the only one who thought the Drew signing was a good idea?

If the CWS take Damon for Garland, I will eat my laptop! Theo was right about him and Pedro and very smart not to get into bidding wars with either one.

Like i said this morning. Where the hell do you play Dye? There is no way they bench Drew and his contract.

Wayne, he has been in and out of the lineup with nagging injuries. Why not take a flyer on a guy who is at the end of hs contract if he doesn't cost you much? They suffer when he is nt int he lineup. I wouldn't give up DelCarmen but I would give up a mid-level prospect or two (like the Mets gave up for Castillo) for the insuranc policy. You wouldn't?

You can't split time in RF with 2 guys like Dye & Drew. They both need their daily ab's. What if Drew is healthy and Dye just sits on the bench. Will he be happy with that?

I'd sit Drew. He flat out sucks right now. I don't think you can play him just because of his salary.

on Weei today, they were saying that the sox assured dye's agent of ab's 5 days a week, which he was fine with.
